I just got that too, and i do have firefox on my laptop, but i am used to IE and have been using it for so long... whats so good about Firefox?

firefox has always loaded faster than IE for me and i'm very impatient and don't want to wait.

Yep, I added that. You shouldnt see it if you aren't using Internet Explorer, are a supporter, premium user, or mod.

If they arent, I can tell you that the firefox notice is a turn-off for newcommers.

Many people dont need two browsers.

Some people using Internet Explorer, or any other miscellaneous custom build browsers for secured browsing do not use fire-fox.

I can understand it being on the first page and all, but when it appears on every page it is just as annoying as ad's.

Think about it, would you revisit a forum where all you see is nothing but a big honking notice on every page?

If it were a bit more suddle then it wouldn't be soo bad.

My two cents.

I don't need two browsers. I only have one installed - Firefox. The speed of firefox, it's lack of integration with the shell, the ability to customise it with different addons to make it work the way that's best for me, oh and the fact that it's Free and open source all mean that I use Firefox. The banner is promoting something that is good for the user, costs nothing, and saves time. I don't understand why people are complaining. :S

Fieast Fan gets $1 for everyone who downloads firefox and doesn't have it already.

Firefox loads much faster for me too, but my school requires me to have IE installed too. Bleh

So can I download and uninstall firefox 100 times, and would FiestaFan get $100 from that?
