If anything has modified the bin it will not work with fiesta anymore. If you have to much running in the background of you computer I noticed it causes that also. Certain Programs won't run with fiesta. An error in the patch installation may have occurred.

I don't get what you are asking, but remember if it breaks ToS, it is not allowed.

You will need a new copy of that.

I'll upload a copy for you, found here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/101859726/Fiesta.bin.html

Let me know if it does not work, or you have resolved your problem.

^ Hopefully this works but it might not the bin folder is slightly modified to your computer specifics, Not much but it could cause slight errors.

When u report an error and u decide to ask someone else about it. The best think u can do is gather as much information as possible. A Screenshot of the bug message, some details of the pc u are using, when did the bug happened, how we can possibly reproduce him, some software we should know about, etc... I guess u get the picture.

We need that information, because we are just humans, too. So we cant read your mind over the internet.

Mine did that once... well had the timer saying that it would be automagically killed in x seconds... turned out it was because the security log on my server was full and it was doing an emergency shutdown.... wasn't impressed.. I was partying at the time :P

Do you have Xfire up?

This might sound weird but I find that if I have Xfire up, I get the Fiest.bin error constantly... But when it's down I don't.

Lady-Loki 03-30-2008 09:40 PM

Have you sent an e-mail with all the specifics to Outspark Support yet?

They generally want to know:

1) Your complete computer specifications including your Operating System, Video Card, RAM, and CPU

2) Your Internet Connection speed

3) A screen-shot if possible of the error message

4) A short list of all the background programs running. This includes anti-virus software, anti-spyware, anti-hacks etc.

5) Your Outspark.exe log file attached to the email

Solving The Infamous FIESTA.BIN Error Under Vista 64

Hi FIESTEROS (Party People):

I recently found a solution to the infamous FIESTA.BIN problem when running Fiesta on Windows Vista 64bits. Be aware that this solution is only for that OS in particular since I am not (and never will be) user of Windows Vista 32bits. Follow the steps below and you are ready to play it:

(This instruction applies when Windows Vista is configured in default scheme)

1. Press START > CONTROL PANEL
2. Select PROGRAMS
3. In PROGRAMS AND FEATURES press VIEW INSTALLED UPDATES
4. In the UNINSTALL AN UPDATE list verify if there is a WINDOWS VISTA 64 SERVICE PACK 1.
5. If step 4 is positive select WINDOWS VISTA 64 SERVICE PACK 1 and press UNINSTALL in the upper bar (ORGANIZE / VIEWS / UNINSTALL)

I installed the darn SP1 for Vista 64 and Fiesta started to gave me problems with the FIESTA.BIN file. Once removed, the game started to run smoothly as usual. I think that some libraries in this SP1 overwrite essential libraries that Fiesta needs as resources and is affecting the game. Let me know if this was your case and if the solution worth the time that took me to write it.
