Cocky little people
 

I am sick of being in a party, KQ or just roaming around when I see some little cocky brat (seriosuly low lvl, or not) acting like he is the boss.
For example in a KQ we had an awsome tank with T3 Def scroll when a noob came along at the boss at the end shouted he was tank and when we said sorry dude this guy has more def he started screaming 'Hacker, hes hacking he has scrolls' and he then pulls the gold hill boss as we are resting and kills most of us.
Luckily we still won.

Another example is mages who use that m,ove which converts HP into SP, then while your attacking a mob they run around you repeatedly shouting 'heal plz' and when I do he uses the HP to SP convertion thing again, if I dont heal him he starts to KS me from then on.

Screen + report him.

Report him for pursposely trying to get a KQ to fail. It's harrassment, and breaks the ToS.

Yeah, I always hated that. Every fighter always seemed to want to tank and barely half of them were any good for it, yet they still insisted and if the group decided on someone else there almost always seemed to be at least one who would do his best to steal the aggro and try to tank anyway. Just makes the clerics job harder.

The mage thing is really annoying and pretty messed up, but I don't remember coming across the problem all that often. I mean that's essentially like making the cleric pay for the mages sp. Instead of using their own pots or stones they use that skill to gain back sp and then try to make the cleric use up their sp to heal them. Nice.

Hyper - this was never in MoS, not that I know of. I am the only Mod on and I did not move it.


And I just recently bought all of my Life Tap skills, because i found that in the MD KQ, I go through a lot more SP pots and stones than Hp, so I will use it, but then I hit one of my HP stones or pots. I do it, to try and save on my SP stones. I don't expect a cleric to heal me when I use it.

LOL. I for one, HATE tanking. Do I want to put my KQ life in danger? No thanks.

I find lifetap more useful when i solo. Keeps my hp/sp meters relatively even.

i hate tanking, i always let someone else do it unless i'm the only one that can.

That is totally why Mara always fails now, coz there's too many fake bosses for idiots to pull from!! but yeah i hope that guy is dead and no one revived him


Mage use lifetap - i really noticed ppl using this in Robo! it annoyed the hell out of me! though, most of them use it between waves of mobs... which is OK i guess... but it got me so confused i thought something was hitting our mage...

but that KS scenario... that mage is just gay.. its doesnt hv much to do with the skill itself....

I don't think thats reportable, and without screenies, its useless since the GMs only have he-said-she-saids. But yeah, I hate that too, thats why I don't use life tap at all, I don't want the cleric to feel obligated to heal me, and I don't wanna give them a heart attack ;p

There are some mages that tap every single time after AoEing mobs, right after the fighter leaves to gather more mobs. And this was at 6x in January, where everyone had supposedly "mastered" their class if they were 6x.

I won't name names, but this idiot is probably 7x and still does it sometimes. I myself fail to see why people think they can force the cleric to pay for their SP. Hell, I don't even have Life Tap in my hotkeys.

I ignore people. Of course its hard to ignore them when they get you killed, but still :3

Eh, someone gets me killed by a train or something, I hunt that person down and train him myself more than once. No use taking a shot and reporting it cause nothing will happen [based on experience]. Easy for us anyway, get a massive train, drag it near the person, use Nature's Protection and, ta-da... :p

U can easily solve the problem with idiotic tanks, just let them die and dont' rez them, when they die enough they lose KQ and he's out :).

there was once where we had ONE cleric who can rev.. and he was super nice and he revived EVERYONE... including idiots....

in the end the idiots pulled MORE maras/marlones and finally killed our cleric 3 times and we failed the KQ with about 5 boss on deck.......
