Guild Questions

What do the different positions in a guild do?
I know that Master and Admin can invite people to guild, but what else?
What do Guard and Council do?
I've also heard about guild storage, what is this?

Thanks

Master and Admin for all intents and purposes are basically the same position.
Only differences are that, Admin cannot make other people Admin, Council or Guard, only the Master can dismiss the guild, and while Master can kick Admin, the reverse isn't true.

Guard and Council are kind of like honorary titles for good members and don't confer any special benefits.

There is no such thing as Guild Storage, to the best of my knowledge.

Isnt there also a guild titles? If so how do you put them on your guild?

Ivramire 04-20-2008 11:29 PM

There are guild titles but they are currently unimplemented.

Only the guild master can apply the title.

SnowStorm 04-20-2008 11:37 PM

ok so what if they could get the title they could put it on.....but ho would they put it no even if they could? There isnt a little box thats says place title here like with your charecter.

Ivramire 04-20-2008 11:47 PM

^A bit hard to read but I think the title goes by the guild name.
If that's what you're asking.

SnowStorm 04-20-2008 11:51 PM

no im asking how would you get it up there. Like there is no little box that says now click this and the title will apear. its not very staright forward.....ok how do you get the title next to the guilds name if you could get it up there at all?

Ivramire 04-20-2008 11:55 PM

I'm guessing that the guild master goes to the community pane-->Guild.

Should be an option there.

But...

as they are unimplemented, can't really be sure.

SnowStorm 04-20-2008 11:57 PM

ok this may be off topic but how did you get that picture thingy unfer your words and the words under the picture thingy?

Ivramire 04-20-2008 11:59 PM

off-topic, yeah but you go to User Cp --->Edit Signature

you can upload a sig from your computer or one from a web-site.

Use 'Preview Signature' to see changes before they're implemented.

ok lets see if it worked...blah?

ok that just looks stupid all by itself wered my picture go it would have enhanced it major!

1 more time...blah

better but i shall change it THANKS!

Ivramire 04-21-2008 12:05 AM

it's better to edit previous posts to add information instead of double-posting

Maybe you did upload a picture for your sig, but maybe you didn't insert it into your sig-line. Fiddle with it.

edit:- nevermind, looks like you figured it out.
But you quadruple-posted o__o

SnowStorm 04-21-2008 12:07 AM

fiddle is a funny word but i got it now...at least i think ***it's better to edit previous posts to add information instead of double-posting*** absoulty no clue what that meant

Ivramire 04-21-2008 12:10 AM

Instead of making a new post every-time, there should be a 'EDIT' button at the bottom of your last post. It is against the forum rules to post consequtively so if you absolutely have to, edit your posts instead.

Lol that helped me quite a bit ^^ Im still a newbie lmao

Ivramire 05-25-2008 03:56 PM

lol, technical-necro, but yeah.

There's an easy way to avoid necroing, either check the date of the last post or
go to User CP--->Edit Options--->edit your thread cut-off value
