Man kills infant daughter over broken XBOX
From the Philadelphia Metro, March 14-16, 2008 Weekend Edition
So I live in Philly (for now), which is the murder capital of the United States. People murder each other here for stupid reasons, but this takes the cake. Tyrone Spellman, 27, killed his 17-month-old daughter because she accidentally pulled down his XBOX and broke it. He killed his daughter with at least five blows to the head, which cracked the toddler's skull several times. He was sentence to up to 45 years. Which is, if you ask me, way too little. He should've been sentenced for life. |
I am speechless. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay, I really need to stop there.

At least five whacks upside his head with whatever is equivalent to what he hit the baby with.
Wtf did his xbox do give him eternal life? did it produce gold at will?...for goodness sake its just a game system.
Some people get really messed up from games...each time i imagine that scene it just makes me sick.. |
Makes me sick.
What makes it worse is that it was over such a crap system like Xbox. Poor girl.. =\
sentenced to life isnt punishment enough, he should be killed a slow agonizing death *eyes turn red with anger*
yeah, people who put objects over life should have more punishment. People in prison are taken better care of than most out of it >_>...lol
My god.. =/
yeah, I don't know how good a discussion something like this will make... I don't think there's anyone on the forum who wouldn't have the same reaction.
Things like this happen every day, disgusting things that most of us never have to notice in our daily life. I really feel revolted at this though, and I hope the little one didn't suffer for long. With this kind of a mentally unstable person for a father, I'm not sure she'd have been alot more well off growing up with him... |
Only in America.
Yeah.
T_T
How sick!!!!!!! |
The thing that gets me is he valued that stupid game console over the life of his daughter. He needs to be strung up by his feet and let all the people who have lost kids that they LOVED to diseases, disabilities, or other horrific acts, throw game consoles at him over and over again.

It might've been that he valued the console more, or it might've been that he had uncontrollable anger issues (i.e. mental instability.) or any other number of reasons. it doesn't change the fact that what he did is in any of these cases still just as horrific, but assuming is one of those little things that gets to me I suppose. :P |
I hope he drops the soap each time he showers.

Edit: LOL, omg. Wow @ me. |

thankfully, I don't have an XboX
OMG WTF?! HE killed a baby over an accident. And it was over a crappy XBOX system. I agree with Ulrike, He should be senctenced for life.
I saw on the news once that a man killed his daughter for texting a boy. |
I hope he regrets it for life....
@blaaaahs new avatar thingy
i bet that is what he looked like T___T with the madness and all >.>
He'll die sooner or later, in a way that's worse than his daughter's death...
^^ an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. He will be judged one day and it will not be pretty.
I hope so ^^ right now, either God is still planning his death, or he's already sending Lucifer's New Army to pay him a visit for his execution =D
OMG...seriously..the way some people are...well...crazy? (*insert proper word here*) really psyches me. I mean..he killed a baby? Because his xbox broke?
*shudder* |
Umm...
WHAT THE ****ING HELL?!?!!? This man has serious mental instability, and I bet that this is what happened: His daughter was just trying to get his attention while he was playing, so in her own little logic she thought that if she took the XBox away from him, he would pay more attention to her, so she broke it while he was playing. She got her attention allright... Sick bastard. |
