Things that make no sense
 

I cannot stand the way some people constantly bash how awful and horrible this game is yet they still play. If it is THAT bad, then don't play. Plain and simple. If all they are going to do is whine, complain and gripe, then find a new game. Why continue to play something that makes them that upset? It is essentially a FREE game. You do not have to buy from the cash shop, which means you DO NOT have to pay to play. Find another FREE game to go play, if Fiesta is that much of a disappointment for them.
Yes, it is okay to complain about glitches, bugs, lack of stuff, and all that. I personally do not like the way there are very few quests for the higher levels and how a lot of the ones that are offered are bugged. However, I do not rant and rave about it all the time. I CHOOSE to continue playing. But, to constantly complain is just ............ on their part, because no one is forcing them to stay with the game. If they are that unhappy, then just quit and walk away.

I totally agree. And anyways, you're not getting anywhere by sitting around and complaining, so its kind of pointless.

Software updates NEVER go as planned, learn to live with it or move on. As Spirit said it is a free game, and if you can't deal with it there are plenty more free games to play. I work for a company that implemented a software update in July of '07 that they planned for and tested for 2 years prior, and we are still fixing issues.

I dunno. This game to me is nothing special or great, especially compared to other games I've played, but I play it mostly because of the friends I have in it, stuff like that.

Though constant whinning and complaining gets annoying, as customers people are allowed, if not obligated, to demand better service.

But, these "customers" do not have to be customers in order to play. The game is playable for Free. Meaning, technically, people choose to be customers. If none of us bought from the cash shop it would not matter. They still offer the game Free. Why complain about something that is Free??

Lets say that your family is having trouble surviving and a local church takes up food donations and gives them to your family; are you going to complain because the Free food they gave you is not what you eat?

It is a free game. If you have so many complaints about a free game, then move on.

I think what you're talking about^ is more along the conservative side other than what Spirit is talking about.


People who say "this is the %@$%@$ game ever!! Archers are broken, Clerics can't damage for @#$$ and Mages are overpowered. THIS GAME SUXXXX!!111!!1 " are wholly different from the people who are prepared to compromise and accept mistakes, and report problems and have justified complaints.

You posted that while I was typing, but YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is that I am saying.
Like I said, I hate that there are not a lot of quests for the higher levels and most of the ones that we do get offerred are bugged. Yet, I choose to keep playing. I send a suggestion to Outsparks to prioritize that issue and I keep playing. If it gets to the point that all I am doing is ranting about all the problems that this FREE game has, then it is time for me to pack my bags and move on.

I'm changing my attitude towards Outspark.

I'll still think twice before accepting what acticipated times they post for downtimes, read thrice before buying from CS due to typo'd descriptions, Screenshot important threads and announcements 4 times in case they later delete or edit them, but yes....

It is a company, a company of people who also need money, are fallible, make mistakes, get pissed off and frustrated. People who cannot compromise and can do nothing but complain about what they do get should move on if it makes them so unhappy.

@Wizard - do not be so conceited. I posted this after one of my few trips to the official site. Where everyone was complaining about all the "problems" that the latest patch caused. Although, I do not know why I even need to explain any of this to you. Unless, of course it is to point out that not everything is about you or revolves around you, including my rant. :) So I will ask you to not make references to my panties or any other thing that could possibly belong to me, as I find you mentioning my panties very offensive and violating. :p

Also, at your last part of your message. In case you failed to notice, I am a Mod. This means I am responsible for reading all posts, even those that are lacking. Therefore, yes I must force myself to read your posts.

I admit that during my Fiesta times, i'm sure i would've complained about one thing or another...

But what most people didnt recognised is that Outspark is actually IMPROVING and they are working very hard, AND they have limited control over the patch of the game.

I think, most of the people that are complaining extensively are those who hasnt worked in the real world, they think "how hard is it to tell someone u want something and get it?" well the world doesnt evo around you in particular, everything requires planning, researching, submitting, producing, applying and u cant all of those in two days.

Sure, you might think it's easy to just fix the bug here, and fix the bug there, but you've always got to look at the BIG picture, things as a whole, if Outspark make little changes here and there, how will that affect the next big patch they apply from their Devs?

To be honest, I'm quite impress with their latest patch, i hvnt found anything wrong with it yet except apparently BR isnt suppose to open but hey its in our favour.

I've learnt to be patient with Outspark's patch, all the things we've reported they've silently taken notes and worked on it, even those issues that are not apparent. I was only not happy with the way they announced things and take it down as the date comes close by, but i think they've learnt not to do that anymore, so they opt for announcing the patch when they're SURE they can patch up, which is like 3 hrs before the patch time. (Short notice but at least it happened!)

Also, when I am the only mod on, it IS my responsibility to monitor the posts and not leave the bad ones for other mods to take care of. :D

I 4got to mention that Fiesta is the only free game i've played so far that actually have new quest every level... yes.. the number of quest decrease at higher levels, and SOME may be bugged.... but at least there are quest!!

most other games i played only have quest once ever 10-20 levels... in fact the quests are wat got me into Fiesta~ at least there are about 10~20% for each level that i dont hv to grind.. and i find that the hardest part of level is to start of 0% again... so yeah... i dont understand wat ppl are complaining about either...

Um - just wanna say, good mods are the ones who don't leave their jobs unfinished assuming other mods will jump in to do the job. Good mods are the ones who has a good sense of responsibility so we will be forcing ourselves to read as many posts as we can everyday to moderate this forum - regardless of whether there are any other mods present at the time or not.


But, back on topic:

I just... totally agree with Spirit and everyone who voiced similar opinions. I've browsed the officials every now and then, and I see so many complaining threads that it disgusts me. If they are complaining as though this game is the worst game ever, and that it will have no improvements, then find another game!

Fiesta doesn't need people who complain without justified reasons, like lvra said. In fact, Outspark could do way better without people who just whine about the game to them every day and wasting their time. So yep - if you wanna complain, complain with a justified reason in a sensible manner! That is probably the only way you would be heard in the bunch of crowd.

Asda story also has quests at every level if Im not wrong

THIS GAME SUXXXX!!111!!1", I still dont see why I should not complain about certain things such as botters which advertise silver (which I have never seen before in other games), moderators who delete important announcements/threads regarding them when they fail to fufil their promises (so far I've only seen 1 other company doing that), or the kill stealers/kids with no manners (seen in a few games, but at least outspark is doing something about it). It is, after all, my opinion.

To be honest, when I first started playing outspark's fiesta the first thing i saw was the botters, it made me quit immediately. (i think back then there was no block feature? and also back then there was a fiesta GSP). Still, especially with the recent patch, I must admit that they are improving...

yeah.. well with the bots.. they KNOW its there... they're really trying hard to ban them i reckon... i think its important to know that they didnt ignore these issues... and they hate ppl that spends money on these bots rather than in the cash shop LOL

but it seems that the spam bots keeps out smarting outspark... LOL i think its a constant battle btw outspark and botters...

but there's no point in making a thread that goes "OMG! ANOTHER DAMN BOT KSING ME IN BH!!!11!!!11!" and rage about it.. the proper way to do it is list the suspected botters name and PM the GM on the forum... i think that's the quick way to stop these bots from going up to higher lvl maps until outspark finds a way to root these botters and kill them all for good... (which is no doubt a tough battle)

Yeahh, I get tired of the complainers too, but its still just a game ;o Real life is way more important. Some people live on fiesta and since they don't have real life stuff going on then they complain 10x more about the game than most people. They need to find a guild thats laid back, like GG is, and just fool around instead of grind all the time. Grinding makes you notice all the little problems in the game that you really don't want since well...you're trying to level, lol.

I will admit that I have complained at least once but now I really don't care :3

Well, as a mod, she has to read everyones posts, so I think she has a right to rant. Its fine to not be pleased with the game, and have a problem with it, and the company, but if some people can report stuff, then shut up and such it up, and try to move on from the issues, then everyone can. I admit, I was annoyed to hell when every level there was a glitched quest, but I moved on, and I don't care anymore. They aren't preventing me from playing the game. If the game doesn't seem to be improved, then move onto another game. Fiesta has a lot of stuff that other well developed games have. Everyone is capable of moving their mouse to the uninstall option, each of our PMs are read by the GMs, whether we get a reply or not. So I see it as pointless to sit around and complain constantly about the same stuff. I know, we have the right, but at the same time, we have freedom, if you enjoy the game, then good, you enjoy it, why are you complaining about something you enjoy? If you don't enjoy it, then why are you still here?

Ok, how in the world do you compare complaining about a capitalist company's service, or lack of service, with complaining about the food you get from a church or charity after losing your home? (Or whatever was said.) I don't think I'm included in the "complainer" group, but that would really offend me if I was.

I've never said I hated Outspark or Fiesta, in fact, I like Fiesta enough to add an average of $15 a month. Paying customer or not, do you think deleting announcements about deserved compensation is ever ok? That is really the only problem I have with Outspark. Other that what Patchouli stated, about how CL's get free cash store items (you heard me) and access to any map, even if only for some idiotic video... That is power abuse/favoritism. (You choose.)

Also, I think the latest patch was the best thing they've done so far. No compatability issues, no bugs, no server crashes. They are definitely improving, and that's all I need to be happy.

Yes, voice suggestions, voice irratants, but why do the same people complain about how awful this game is over and over and over and over and over, yet they still play. Why do people berate everything that there is about this game, yet they still play? If there is that much to complain about with a FREE game, then fins another free game.

And at Hyper directly - no, your comlaints so far have been fine. You do not constantly berate and insult the game, Outsparks, the GMs, and others affiliated with the game. I myself have voiced a few of my issues I have had with the game. However, I say my piece and then go on, it is not the same thing over and over again. I don't constantly say how this game sucks and everything that is assocaited with the game sucks. Neither do you, so no you are not classified as the people I am referring to. :)

To extirpate the flame war, the way the statement prior statement to his complaint was worded can be misleading if the passage was not read thoroughly, or was quickly skimmed to derive the overall implication. No, she is not directly addressing you, as the penultimate and final questions are not only rhetorical in nature, but are also juxtaposed for emphasis.

If they continue insofar to award Community Leaders with items that can only be acquired by the general public through the use physical currency, then they are seriously jeopardizing their entire franchise if a sizable portion of the gaming population takes offense. I personally fail to see how a few select individuals that spend an average of five hours a day lurking on the Official Outspark Forums merit items simply because they are able to devote more time. Not to criticize the character of Outspark employees, but I find that their sense of priorities and justifications are sometimes extraordinarily misguided.

Not only did a CL have free stuff, none of it is avaliable to normal users. It was the cheetah loincloth. They also had special movers, and some other non-attainable items.

Also, I dont see how its wrong to keep complaining about the same things, if they are never fixed. Its not like im flooding the GM's inbox (i dont reallly think my PMs will make much difference in this case so i cant even be bothered). im just frustrated everytime i have to block yet another one of those botters, and now that i see that the once botter-free epith has a few botters, but i've more or less gotten used to it since its only a few... I guess i will never be able to get rid of the mentality that outspark=full of botters=unprofessional. But like i said i dont spam the GMs and neither do i make any "!@!&^*@^!&#!^& BOTTERS!" threads...

Ah yes. The same droves of people I met when I played Maple Story. What I want to know is how these same people behave in real life. Sadly, these are probably the same people who won't vote/watch the news/try to make a difference in their community when they grow up.
