Awh. Schools can be a real bummer. They don't really understand people have stuff happen, lmao. I know i had to go through hell in my first year of high school because I was gone form class for like..3 months almost because I had pneumonia, and this one teacher gave me the worst time with it, even though I did everything I could to get my homework from her, she REFUSED to give it to me, because it was "my responsibilty to be there or get it from other students'. >_>

Yeah, she like ..ended up BARELY passing me with a D-, but then before I went to graduate she had somehow changed it to an F, and thus commenced a hearty battle with her over a grade change, lmao. (Which in the end my counselor was like, ugh, she's a bitch. *scribbles F out and puts D*) XD

I remember when I went to my Uncle's funeral 3 years ago...

my freshman Orchestra teacher only cared that we missed the concert that we were having... and didn't care about the situation... so she gave me and my bro a D- for missing it.

We went to the principle and got that changed.

There was a tracher at my school who failed 90% of her students. Even students with AP classes and honors would fail. The only reason she wasn't fired was because she had a 90% pass rate on our state-wide exams.

I don't get how half of the people who end up as teachers STAY teachers. I mean, in high school, I had maybeee....3-4 professers who actually TAUGHT things, where we actually LEARNED.

I mean, like.... when I was in 10th grade I signed up for Art I, and teahre put me into AP art mixed with art II, and so I was super excited, like, WEE I'M GONNA LEARN =D ......

She taught nothing. Not even freaking kidding. Her idea of teaching was taking your drawing and drawing over it. >_> And then I had the same teacher the next year in AP Art and she still didn't teach, I got in trouble like 50 times because the Art II kids (it was always a shared classroom) would come over to me or one of theo ther AP kids and ask for help. >_>

AP really isn't a class for teaching, which is kind of odd. Its a class where you have one loooooooong assignment, a goal to get atleast 24 pieces ready for a portfolio at the end of the year where most of the time, everyone just ends up with a rating of 2.
My first art teacher didn't teach us at all. She just kind of told us what we were doing then that was it, we were on our own.

Everyone hates Requiem anyway so he's not really changing anything LOL


It's not easy being a teacher, it takes a lot of motivation to prepare class and all... here's a lil perspective i see AFTER i talked to my friend who's now a teacher...

She's a new teacher so she's very dedicated to her teaching, when she's doing it properly she has to do class planning, design the class and work sheet so the students learn, log the progress of each class (its actually a requirement!) and mark assignments, hwks.... ALL that done AFTER school hours...

in a normal 8 hr working day, 6 hrs are at school, with most of the time teaching or playground duty... two hrs left isnt actually enough to do all of the above... so they run overtime at home... WITH LOW PAY!

Teacher's job is a lot harder than we think.. that's why we've got a lot of bad teachers~

Like... the frustration right now...

of all that worrying, and trying my best to get it all done right.

Then my mum comes down stairs, and I told her no school, she says

"Yeah, I've known that since 10 'til 5 this morning. Shows how observant you are."

And this... makes me so hurt inside, because all I want to do is be the best I can, and I tried showing an effort after 2 days of slacking off. When I show the most effort, it's all ignored.

I really feel so dead inside.
