Any guesses on how long it would take for Outspark to ban all botters?

Zenith is a outspark player i think.... i THINK i've seen a person with the same name around...

regarding the bots....

they're working on it... they're working on it...

maybe in 2-3 yrs?

Eh bots arn't all that bad I just block em and move on, the anoying part is every half hour there's like new bots o_O

Thats bad enough to be considered a problem already IMO. And outspark cant even fix such a basic problem... (most humans have heard of gameguard, right?)

Btw, is the "online now" in ur signature for real or does it always say "online now"?

They could've fixed the bot problem by now but they're too busy with their precious little cash shop. The least they could do is toss all the bots into a random Guild of some sort and put them in some sort of permanent war against every Guild in the game. I think that would make plenty of people happy. Or you know... do what pretty much every other MMORPG out there has done and get some stupid security program to protect their game.

I heard that they re-added X-trap, making some people unable to play, but that didnt stop the botters. Yet another screw-up? I would understand the first time they did it, but they shouldnt make the same mistake twice...

Xtrap is just awful. I'd rather be hacked to death than have them use Xtrap. I forgot the name of the one that MapleStory uses but if Fiesta would use that one then our problems would be semi-solved.

Omg... every time I walk into Eld, the first thing that happens to me is a whisper about some MMOgold.com or whatever the hell...

same thing in Uruga... but it's not even humanly possible to type that stuff after I just walked in there.

Fiesta tries to do stuff, and idiot people are ruining it. It's not Fiesta's fault that the bots are there.

Yeah, it kind of is. OutSpark is responsible for keeping the game fair, and sitting idly by while bots rape their towns is just negligent.

ban a bot and another 3 show up instead, it's no use lol.
it's only effective if you pay lots of people to take care of the server 24/7, but, sadly, it's still the best option :/

and gameguard doesn't solve much either ><;;

Spammers can actually whisper now? That totally sux. It was bad enough when they got to uruga thanx to those new gates and the relog glitch but whispering now? I thought just filtering out normal chat would get them out of my hair but noo. every time I go into a city i have to block the spammers. Why add X-Trap if it doesn't help?

From the sounds of it, Fiesta is going to Hell in a hand basket now. Hell, I thought it was bad before but this is just ridiculous. Bots that can whisper you? The world is coming to an end. Err, Fiesta's world that is.

yeah those whisper bots are fast!! but they dont spam into it... just once... but still...

how do other games stop spam bots?! surely these bots doesnt ONLY attack Fiesta.... Devs should hv a look at wat other ppl do and learn from them...

Threaten the websites with law suits, hire more GMs who stay in-game and ban bots all day, or simply find a better game protection program. MapleStory uses nProtect GameGuard as do several other games and it seems to work really well. I would highly recommend they try that out rather than letting "Xtrap" try and protect them. Which, as we all know, has failed horribly.

Well, okay, we all know that X-Trap doesn't work @__@

My question is why doesn't Outspark just try something else? Gameguard I saw somewhere in the posts @_@

Spammers are now flooding our whispers. X-Trap has failed, spammers have moved forwards, LOL .___. lll
I don't think we should blame Outspark for putting in X-Trap, we should blame them for not taking it out when it fails and trying another method.

gameguard is easily bypassed though (not a thing im very proud of, but i did so when i was playing gunz :x never again i swear xD)
