I always thought he looked a bit like Santa Claus... xD

Yosei 02-21-2008 05:42 AM

Hessah 02-21-2008 06:42 AM

HAHAHAH awww how sweet~~

a.L 02-21-2008 07:16 AM

Sword in one hand, bottle of grog in the other. Just how a papa should be.

O-mie 02-21-2008 07:25 AM

Zodiac 02-21-2008 12:35 PM

Spirit 02-21-2008 01:47 PM

LMAO - OMG, that does look like my Papa Bear. Oh, and for those that haven't figured it out. I call my step-dad (who is my dad, because he raised me and has always been there for me), my Papa-Bear. To cute.

@Zodiac - I am not short. I am not tall either, I consider myself average at 5'6". And now you must run for your little life, because I might whack you with my staff.

Mark her words - RUN!!!

Lady-Loki 02-21-2008 01:55 PM

Papa-Bear is not quite that gray in the whiskers (actually still lots of black in the whiskers) and not really shorter than me (but not really all that much taller than me), but yeah, short-ish whiskered man with a weapon and grog - Papa-Bear!

And as for Spirit, she too is taller than me - fortunately for her her real father was 6'4" (sorry my international friends, can do the metric conversion & no time to look up the conversion link someone posted once) so she got a little bit of height from him.

Zodiac 02-21-2008 02:26 PM

-Summons Vortex- ~Vortex Teleports me under my bed~ -Hides- o_O

Zwivix 02-21-2008 03:32 PM

Zodiac 02-21-2008 09:43 PM

Spirit 02-21-2008 11:38 PM

^^ I see you under there.

Yeah, it is a good resemblence of him. That is what makes it so funny. He is kinda short but not really that round. But, it was close enough to make me laugh.

Zodiac 02-22-2008 12:09 AM

o_O -Get out from under bed- ~Goes secret agent style behinds hyper and hides there~

Spirit 02-22-2008 12:16 AM

Hyper will be of no use to you, lol. And I think this is getting off topic, so to keep it on topic: well, I got nuffin to say. May have to move some of this to spam.

Hessah 02-22-2008 12:27 AM

Belaslav 02-22-2008 12:27 AM

O.o

So he walks around the house with a gun in one hand, and a bottle of scotch in the other?

Lol at album frame.

alexbre 02-22-2008 12:39 AM

Belaslav 02-22-2008 12:41 AM

He might as well have been. He raised me since I was a wee wittle girl. He was even the one that I had "give me away" when I got married.

Lady-Loki 02-22-2008 12:56 AM

Family pix deserve frames! :D

And, well, it's actually Jack Daniels in a disguise bottle and the gun is handy just not in-hand, but sometimes when he's out walking the property he carries a walking stick that he uses to poke things or knock things ans stuff (we live on about 3.5 acres so he patrols his "estate" checking the fences and securing the grounds.) Keep in mind folks, we are talking about a guy who is generation (and maybe in some cases two) ahead of most of you so, yeah, he's got those older-folk ways and quirks!

And as for me, I'm from that generation but I've always been odd-man out - I don't do like most of my friends from that generation.

Papa-Bear and I are like that "opposites attract" kinda thing. He's amiable & I'm expressive; he's all politics and I write all politicians off as crooks; he's all into sci-fi & action shows and I'm all comedy & romance; he has never played any game on computer except solitaire and mah jong and I try all kinds of games, he throws away anything he thinks is clutter and I'm a packrat & he is frugal and I am all about spend it while I can enjoy what it buys. Yep, opposites in so many ways, but so alike in others - like we neither eat seafood and we neither smoke or want to be around smoking people and when we first met we were both all about the motorcycles and parties (age & good sense cooled those two down for us) and it works so well.

Hessah 02-22-2008 01:37 AM

He chuckled and asked were they headed to the bedroom. (I think he thinks my little cleric is shmexy!)

Hey, you asked, if you don't really wanna know you shouldn't ask.
