GamenGame and Fiesta
 

Wtf is with this. I was browsing Gamengame for Lunia stuff and I suddenly saw that in there upcoming MMOs that they're going to be releasing Fiesta

Yeah i saw that too Sheapy, i was shooked. but the fiesta GMs and devs might control everything, and its just on G&G, like us GMs and DEVs did for ME. well i hope so.

seems thats how it is at the moment, i hope it stays like this for OB.

Sorry I am confused. Is Gamen Game like another company (e.g. outspark, softnyx, galanet, etc)? Meaning another company is releasing the same game? o.O Never heard of that before. D:

I don't want Fiesta to be ruined :( I will try and get all my friends to sign up for CB and get them to join OB :D

I remember when GnG first came out, they had this new thing called Single Sign On. Basically what SSO does is let's you use one account for all of their games. Sounds good right? NO. It delayed all their SSO games for around a month because of some error. I would rather have made 5 extra accounts than wait an extra month.

It really isn't their fault because of some of their games failure. It's because of their bad rep. So when people here Gamengame, they shiver with fear and hide their children.

I doubt Fiesta will be ruined. Since it wasn't with GnG from the start o.O

but GNG do mess up alot of the games they actually do have some control over, SSO is fuched up, you wait for ever for updates, GM's are like non existant in the games GNG to run unfortunately.

some games dont let GNG control what goes on in them and that keeps them from sucking, but alot are GNG controlled.

GnG is not a company that publishes/develops games. Alot of people make the mistake that GnG is actually the one in charge of all the games they host. They're basically providing a service to help devs of foreign games to distribute the translated versions to english based companies/investors/etc.

To clear things up a bit, they set up a server and webbie (i think) for a company to test run, and at the same time advertise their mmo(s). So if you want to blame GnG for having horrible games, the only thing you can hold them responsible for was for the whole sso fiasco. Any other factor like lag, translation problems, etc. you blame the developers of said game.

Though GnG may have had a horrible first impression with their sso system, you have to admit they are hosting quite a few games that we've been wanting translated versions of, and games we've never even heard of but have really enjoyed (lunia :3). I wouldnt be surprised to see LaTale, Mabinogi, HBO, and many more being 'released' by GnG sometime in the year.

SSO was just a small problem, sure it delayed games for a long while, but the quality of the games themselves has not been decreased or destroyed in anyway from GamenGame. Look at trickster online for example, the game is still very MUCH alive and the Gm teams are very active with eventlys weekly..

For all we know, outspark might just be transferring fiesta to gamengame, but we should just wait...

technically, no. asiasoft is a developer that just happens to provide more than one game (like alot of other companies these days eg: nexon, levelup, gametribe, acclaim, etc.), so if their games have any problems, they are the ones who deal with them.

if gng games have problems, its the developer (not GnG) that decided to use gngs hosting services, who is incharge of fixing whatever people are complaining about.

this is why everyone thinks GnG is crappy in handling games when they dont work or disappear from the list. they arent to blame for the loss, either the game that was being hosted either has been bought by another company to publish (meaning it will have its own server / webspace / game release eventually), or just discontinued for whatever reasons. again, GnG is not to blame.

in short, GnG is not a developer/publisher, they do not have any control over any technical issue of any game they host.

Is this even allowable? I mean Outspark already has an English Fiesta under their management. Whats the use of two different Fiestas with two different management?

We got 2 english grando espada/sotwn versions without any ip blocks..

I think there's 2 RAN onlines. E-games and GnG.

The other RAN by E-games is a Philippines-based server I believe.
