Did anyone actually get the EMail yet?
It's opening at bloody tomorrow and they haven't even mailed me the client yet, and I believe no-one else got it too. Am'a'right?
If anybody did get it I should EMail them :P

Sorry i didn't read the client stuff! I think they will be releasing the client tomorrow! but if you really need it theres a installer at mmosite.com =)

I'm guessing if they didn't mail me with the client, they got their data mixed up and I may not be able to log in.
I'm still contacting them. Just in-case.


To clear up some things:
The first client will be un-available, you did know that, right?
I hope you've actually read the E-Mail that said we'll be getting a new client, mmosite.com looks like the old one (I'll still download it again).
If you didn't know we're getting a new client, which E-Mail was the "we got ours 3 days ago!"? I did get my invitation about a week ago.

Apparently it will be available only when beta opens.

They prolly wont send it out til the actual day, or maybe even the actual time.

the client for CB1 was open an hour before the scheduled opening of CB1, which happened on schedule. There was an email notice given out to everyone that they could download it.

BTW: I know this sounds stupid, but i'm just making sure. Do people from CB1 have to download the new client or do they just have to open the client they have and get the new patch?

at the moment i don't think anyone knows because outspark hasn't said anything. I think it will just be a patch though.

I was wondering if CB1 people had to do it as well, does that include cb1 people?

Shouldn't the cb1 client be able to patch up to the new one?

@Syn & Roka It'll prolly just require a patch. No reason for us to have to download a new client but i guess the only way is to wait an see.

@Sai only new CB2 testers got that email im pretty sure....I got a email but it was nothing along those lines or maybe i jus read it to fast the old CB1 client is still on mmosite and download.com.:D

If you read "we will be giving you a fresh client for fiesta" what part of "fresh client" do some of you not get? Yes, CB1 people too.
The old client would not work anymore.

um Sai, there is a patch for every game. When cb1 dowloaded the client, you had to wait for the patch to finish before you could play. the patch adds in all changes to the game and stuff.

ummm Sai? u a new CB2 Tester eh? :D I think so...if we needed a new client the gms would have sent us*Cb1 Testers* a email but it seems we didnt get one we just got one about CB2...an its like this YOU ARE NOT on staff at Outspark so you cant tell us anything about there not being a patch kthnx bye.:D

its only cb2, not like a lot of things are changing and the new client would most likely be in OB but...who knows =\ we will see

but if it is a new patch, can you say rape? unless they make it only avaliable via bt :P lol doubt it~

like i said, patch is most expected...unless they have a LOT of changes or there were a lot of hackers who screwed things up like another certain game with flying and not so fun...

Patch or not we should expect a several MB download..

Anyone will be able to download the client, however only cb2 players will be able to play it

Tequila, before you start flaming me, you better realize I do have the facts.

Fact: They wrote, quote "brand new fiesta client", i.e. 2.x I suppose, a lot better than 1.2.3. Why? Well, because they fixed so much, probably.
A patch would take too much time, if you ask me.

Fact: CB2 AND CB1 people at the forum all talk about a new client being released before or when the closed beta starts.

uhmm regarding the Fresh Client, i haven't receive any email about a New client for dloading! and i already dload the official Fiesta Installer! the old client is 600MB+ and the new one i dload is 761MB! =)

No it isn't, it's the same one - 1.2.3
And the fresh client will only be released around the beta itself, it seems.

On topic: I hope I dont have to install a new thing.

It looks like they fixed lots and lots of bugs, according to their recent posts and stuff, so I personally think a new client would be better, but the download time kinda sucks.

We'll all know in 1 to 3 hours.
2.3 to the actual launch.

i seriously doubt they would make us download anything other then what we did the last the time...even last time the dl wasnt very big....a patch can work jus as well as a new client.

Well for the first CB download it took about 5-10 minutes to download then about another 10-20 to patch so it wasnt to bad.
