I kinda like that idea - no rectangular shaped. I think pop out sigs are alright??

okay, count me out. Haha, I just now figured out how to make a regular rectangle siggy, now you gonna throw shapes at me. *turn and runs off stage* too pro for my untalented butt. I got excited at first, cuz me loves me some animals, and my Belle would make such a cute siggy.

Eh... if people are going to turn away cause of the shape thing... then I guess I'll remove it. ;/

Noes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont do that. I like the idea and cant wait to see the results. I am just a REAL amatuer siggy maker, so this may be too much for me. But, heck, I forgot to enter the last one, so it is not like you are turning away a constant participant. In fact, I have only entered one so far. So I say again, NOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep the shape thing.

We basically just want some more creative shaped sigs. Something outta the ordinary, something that's not boring like a plain rectangle which everyone has.

^Your sig above is pretty close to not being rectangular. Mebbe just chop off the top "rectangle" part so the heads seem like they stick out more.

Nah, I dont think that would work for me...I like the frames...My sig is a rectangle intersected by multiple figures...Still I dont like the theme very much...

No, I'm not changing it. o; I've already got one entry. And just because some members don't feel comfortable with the theme, doesn't mean it's bad or anything.

I think it's cool and new, and we should try it out! We don't need a zillion entries for each SOTW. xD

Thanks Blahs, but it's not very nice when people complain about the theme you choose. :/ Especially after a bad day... but that's besides the point.

There are going to be so many SOTWs, not every theme can satisfy everyone, and everyone must realise that. I'm pretty sure my no-anime thing didn't satisfy everyone. 8D

Yes Love its okay your theme is great, I just said that I dont feel like doing this one. You must remember people will always comment on the themes, and they might not all be good.

I like the no rectangles restriction since it should provide something new to look at.

And pets... I have lots of pets, but I really don't have any pictures or a digital camera or scanner so I dunno. I guess if I try this one I'll just round up images from the intertron.

What exactly counts as a pet though? I mean, there are people that actually keep some pretty exotic animals as pets.

kk, I am no siggy maker in the least little bit. I have only entered 1 of these things so far, haha and I only got 2 votes, but I was happy just getting one vote, two was a shock. But, anyways, I say all that to say, that after reading all these posts, it makes me wanna try my best to make a siggy that is not a box or rectangle, simply to show people that it can be done even by someone who ONLY knows how to past and crop pictures in Photoshop. So, I am off to find me a picture of a pet that I can turn into a siggy. It may be the ugliest and worst siggy ever made, but at least I am willing to try.

I honestly don't see what's so hard about not doing a rectangle since there are a lot of shapes that can fit inside one anyways, especially with the sig size limit of these forums. o-o

In any case, I already know what I'm going to do~ ^___^ Shall be good practice for me. Probably won't start it until Friday, but I really want to do this one just cause it involves animals, haha.
