The battlefields...
 

Well this morning I tried them out. I've got to say, outspark has totally taken a good thing and made it bad.

The battlefields give good exp as compared to the lower level monsters in a level range. For example all the Dungeon of Abyss (lv.60-69) has is a bunch of orc's and pinkies.

Furthermore, the monsters in the dungeon take twice as long to kill. I kill a blue trumpie faster than an orc of abyss, and get more experience out of killing the trumpy.

The dungeons drop rate is the same as the outside world except you have a better chance of getting stuff like sapphire, etc.

These arent like the dungeons in BK, Shine Online, or any other version. It seems like everything else, we have a watered down half-useful version.

Wow and like I am so not supprised about that either... sigh. Too bad the game crashes 2 sec after loading so I may never know :/.

-Edit- Nvm it was just a problem with Eldy and yes that battle ground is awful.

We got jipped again. No surprise there, lol.

I'm in it now, and I'm really let down.

I guess now I still have to start damn grinding again.


And I see no PvP.

I'm not too fussed about the Battlegrounds. It's the frequent game crashes that are annoying the crap out of me.

They're having issues with PvP, SKiNG said its initiated with an aoe attack(bug). Bah... I knew it was too good to be true for us. I knew that was going to happen with the battlegrounds.

They said they had "problems" with implementing the PvP. The place is called freaking battlegrounds and they can't put the PvP in? Anyway, they also said they'd have it fixed by monday. whoopee.

I hate to toot my own horn but I so saw this coming. All the expectations about the battlegrounds being a high exp, awesome drops place seem to have evaporated.

Well, at the very least, we'll have a place to PvP in without GW, assuming they fix it.

Well booyah, those who haven't experienced it, like we have, might think its wonderful D: Thus fleeing to battlegrounds, giving the rest of the world to us lol. Atleast the zones might be equaled out now.

I haven't expirienced BK ones, and I still think they suck.

Haha, as expected. >.> And when you say Monday... you mean next week? They should get to it right away, not wait another week for it.

Though, I have to say that drop rates aren't any better it's that they drop all types and you have a chance of getting weapons too. As well as blessd/lucky stones.


I'll just wait for the Valentine costumes... buy it then wait til the class balance before I go back. :P

Poor booyah... u talked it up so much... i'm disappointed too...

(although i picked up some solar eclipse cleric armour... YAY! nothing ever drop clerics armour for me in the outside world....)

but yeah Angellic summerised it very well... poor exp.. tougher mobs... i lvl SLOWER than i would outside.... oh well! HAHA

its not like they took anything that we've already got away from us... they've just added more crap that's useless... hopefully this is a start for them to IMPROVE on it.. surely if we give them "enough feedbacks" they might change it? -wishing very hopefully-

Funny how it somehow got reversed from "weaker strength and HP."

soloing in the dungeon is fun, u kinda get away from alot of stuff
and i get way more xp in there then i would normally get from a monster of my lvl and i kill just as fast.

The mobs in BF for me seems to hv much higher dodge rate.. i miss about 80% of the time... (with my cleric hammer)

and i'm use to fighting orcs in Uruga... so in comparison.. i train on higher lvl mobs, miss less, so i kill faster with more exp...

Guess I'm not missing much if the results of the Battlefield introduction was terrible

That is for 30-39.

There is no 20-29 battle field. I thought there was one too until wacky told me there wasn't any, LOL.

Now i havn't played BK like some of you have so maybe you can inform me if I'm going on the wrong track here.

I believe the problem came up when Outspark decided that they would allow grouping/seeing other people and all that good stuff. Instead of just saying hey...Korea, we want the exact same battlegrounds as you could you please send them to us, they decided they would make all sorts of changes to be "different" well, like the rest of you I am completely disappointed in the battlegrounds because not only is the PVP broken (a new feature...broken? wait, we've seen this before from Outspark...with EVERYTHING new) but for the fact of there is 1 reason and 1 reason only to be in a BG, and like most have said, the drops SEEM to be better for certain things.

The only reason I see to be in BG's right now is to farm out the coveted scroll production recipes. (Someone has supposedly gotten T3 Vit already)

actually grouping and seeing other people is in the japanese version, not sure about the korean but it might be the same.

What do you mean by better drops?

I'm not sure if the Korean battlegrounds suck like ours do, but that version is most similar to us. =\

I'll see if the Korean ones suck after I get home.
