What do you think of the rep system?

The rep system is fine. Some people just care too much about it though, lmao.

I think its okay. Kind of like a kudos system on a blog. I think the members use it too lightly though.

That last round of repping was...a bit extreme. I'm not gonna lie. I was apart of it, along with many other prominate members of the forum. I think we should take the rep system a little more serious from now on, since its only supposed to be used when someone actually deserves it.

Like Lilian said, I don't judge people from how many green dots they have. It's a nice little system to see what other members of the forum think about a particular member, but, I don't think it's anything worth crying over for. |
Ever since a particular thread there has been tons of rep for no reason.

I shall have to vote "It's fine" cuz, yeah, it means so very little really. I mean, do I get more space in my inbox for more +rep? Do I get a custom tag for more +rep? No and neither do I lose any, so really, it amounts to nothing more than a toy for people to play with and have fun with. I mean really, look at hyper trying for a full red bar - who would want that? Not me, but hyper is enjoying it.
I think that since it offers no perks and does not diminish any of our forum services, it is fine. Now, I'm sure several are going to say "well, with all that why didn't you just vote "You don't care"? Answer - I do care, I care that as many people as can be amused by something so trivial should be able to keep the amusement. I can't vote It's great because as said it carries no special perk to make it great and I certainly can't vote "It's being abused" for the same reason, it carries no special perk. To abuse it would be to use it to threaten people to get your way or to get their SoTW vote to avid -rep. That would be abuse. So, yeah, It's fine. |

Well, I think it's fine. I don't really take +reps very seriously, I just spread some love or rep a post that I thought was good and detailed ;D But I do take -reps seriously. I don't derep anyone unless I have a reason to get upset or not approve of a post. |

ijji's new anti-hack official renders your mouse invisible when GunZ is running. They still haven't caught on. Idk about aimbot, I kill them in 2-3 hits so w/e. gg. full EDIT to Bla~ahs: Periodically reduce any reputation gained that is not given due to a helpful post. |

Also, I agree with who currently have the top rep. They usually have helpful, or interesting posts, whereas if someone such as giorules was 6-8 bars, that would be abuse. Or a really dumb joke. I honestly couldn't care less if people approve of my posts or not. I did/do ask for de-rep sometimes, but that's a joke. It's different than asking for what some people take as your actual reputation or the level of respect other members have for you. I <3 red bar. |
