I'm not sure why everyone likes it so much.

It really is only better because of the CS items, but none of us can even buy any. The PvP areas don't work, because no one uses them.

Ohmahgawd, asking for derep is different than getting it without asking! >o<

Yosei 01-25-2008 03:32 AM

Oh shush Fly

Pros:
-PvP zones in each town
-Battlegrounds with 2x exp
-PvP KQs
-tradeable CS items
-greens are cheaper
-easier to level
-higher levels
-more quests
-more skills
-more zones
-classes are more balanced.
-greens drop more
-Easier to make money(I only played a week and I almost had 1g)

Cons:
-everyone speaks Japanese
-dead community(there were like 5 people in Roumen earlier) and like 30 tops in Elderiner.
-westerners are not supposed to be there.
-everythings in Japanese(except stuff touched with our patch)
-the economy is high priced(but its easy to make money)

my "patch" is better, aside from the fact that, outside of Minerva, i'm not sharing anymore and that i got lazy on cash items, leaving out levels and any amount of time they last for, not that either of those should really make a difference :p

Loveless 01-25-2008 03:44 AM

Greens are like less than 10s... lol Unless it's level 60+ with super good stats.

I'd also like to mention weekly maintenance and they're constantly improving the game from player feedback. They listen to the players, that's a damn good reason to be playing a game. :P

Also, the guide was written for those people on FiestaFan and the files themselves were not made by you but another member. I don't know why you act as though you own the information?

i'm not talking about any guides or the Shine.bin file, nor do i claim that i own any information… ~_~

Loveless 01-25-2008 04:13 AM

You sure act like it. If I remember correctly you sent me a PM with a link to that site of yours with my guide (no credits at all) and links to the 'patch' files as well.

But this thread isn't about that, anyways...

Hyper 01-25-2008 04:17 AM

What site?

Link please.

Loveless 01-25-2008 04:20 AM

Meh, that site of his in his sig. He removed the stuff though.

i dunno if it was like this at the time, but there both links to the original on the main page, as well as one to the original and to your profile on FF on the guide page

Code:

<img src="/images/space.gif" width="16" height="0"> <a href="/guide.html">Bright Kingdom Guide</a><img src="/images/space.gif" width="10" height="0">(<strike><a href="http://www.fiestafan.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4319" target="_blank">Original</a></strike>)<br>

(there're only strikethroughs because the links don't really go anywhere, outside of the Blaze of Life group)

…though either way, like you said, that doesn't really have anything to do with this topic ^^;

MikeyG 01-25-2008 04:50 AM

hmm yosei u make it sound very appealing

I don't remember you asking for permission to post it elsewhere.

@mikey: It is appealing when Outspark can't even do the bare minimum to keep players happy.

Yosei 01-25-2008 05:47 AM

May I request we get back on topic? If need be, I will delete the spammy posts.

arashi 01-25-2008 06:15 AM

right… aside from the differences listed in this thread earlier by Yosei, there are also the few items you start with: the ones that increase drop rate and gathering that both last for a day, and the red tuxedo/dress that lasts for 3, as well the the one that takes you back to whatever map you assign to it, though there's an hour cooldown after using it

from my own experience, being a mage seems to be a lot easier, since Lightning Bot can stun. i've soloed Mara, Marlone, etc., at relatively low levels compared to when i eventually got around to finishing the quests that killing said mobs are needed for (excluding Mara, whom i don't believe i killed on Bijou ^^; ). because of being able to stun, it's also possible to kill higher-leveled mobs, though depending on how much higher the mob's level is it could be a waste of time unless trying to get material items for a quest or something

(sorry about any spammy posts, since they're all most likely my fault… ~_~;; )

AngellicDiety 01-25-2008 09:28 AM

Bright Kingdoms weapons are far more powerful than their outspark equivalents.

Our lv.90 Titanic axe deals 685 ~ 949 damage, while the BK version deals up to 2000 dmg.

Titanic Axe (lv.90): 685 ~ 949
Titanic Sword (lv.90): 437 ~ 622
Vulcan Sword (lv.90): 230 ~ 318
Titanic Mace (lv.90): 311 ~ 430
Titanic Hammer (lv.90): 574 ~ 718
Titanic Bow (lv.90): 260 ~ 371
Titanic Crossbow (lv.90): 508 ~ 662

And the list goes on.

Compare those to the stats found on the wiki (from BK or shine) and you see that outspark has nerfed our version quite a bit!

Yosei 01-25-2008 03:14 PM

=D Isn't BK awesome? The monsters are weaker too!

Ivramire 01-25-2008 03:18 PM

BK is almost too easy... <:]

Yosei 01-25-2008 03:19 PM

Its nice when you've been trying to level a 6x mage on Fiesta.

booyah8876 01-25-2008 03:30 PM

BK is the smeck =D

Ivramire 01-25-2008 03:35 PM

Mages and archers are almost completely different in BK.

Mages are the top-played class in the game, with the ability to stun with lightning and a 2-second cd on Magic Burst. They get Inferno(lvl67?) before Frost Nova which comes much later than in Fiesta.

Archers are a much more feasible class in BK than in Fiesta. I managed to get one to lvl15. and still haven't got any DoT abilitys. I believe the first comes at lvl35. Archers attack much faster:-0.9 secs with a bow. and their lvl15 ability traps the enemy so that they cannot move or attack. DEX in BK is actually a usable stat with full DEX builds (from Loveless' guide) being able to evade high mobs half the time.

Clerics are also different with a useful ability that lowers mob defense, stunning and a bleed debuff.

Fighters seem to be pretty much the same with the notable difference that their lvl2.Snearing ability(it's not a kick in BK, more like a head-butt) comes later than in Fiesta making it a little more difficult to hold aggro.

What's also interesting is that every class can buff the party.Archers can increase the party's accuracy and crit rate, Fighters the attack, Mages the SP and Clerics get a early weak endure which is a HP buff only.(I believe they still have the resist and protect buff)

*BK has more skills and the levels at which you get them may be different than in Fiesta

Yosei 01-25-2008 03:44 PM

The skills are definitely a lot better in BK. I don't understand why Outsparks version doesn't have them. I can understand trying to make the game a challenge, but still.. thats more like jipping us.

Patchouli 01-25-2008 04:18 PM

Outspark is linked to Ons On Soft, so it follows the Korean version, I assume they just go along with that without much choice.

Yosei 01-25-2008 04:23 PM

Yeah =/ But I still don't get why they don't let us have the same stuff. A lot of people are going to be ticked if/when they add new skills to Fiesta, cuz it may mess up the way people wanted to empower their skills. I too was kind of confused on what to do, cuz I got 2 new buffs and Lightning, a skill I chose not to use in Fiesta, was actuallly my most useful skill. So I chose not to do anything to my buffs, and empower the duration of lightning, then stick to my regular empowers.
I can understand stuff like pvp grounds and quests, but skills?

I never realized that :O Makes me wanna quit.

Spirit 01-25-2008 05:28 PM

Yosei needs to leave Bk, come back to Fiesta, and we can merge Rush and G____G together!!! Then we could rule the world.

On topic: BK sounds like a lot of fun, but to me, the fact that is is in a language I cannot read or write is the turn off for me.

Ivramire 01-25-2008 05:30 PM

I can't play BK if no-ones with me ;__;

Yosei 01-25-2008 05:32 PM

You have me lvra! Lol, I'm so flip flopping. G___G plus Rush would be like... a transformer changing from a car into a big mecha.

Yosei 01-25-2008 05:50 PM

5, we still have our tool-chan.

Ivramire 01-25-2008 05:52 PM

I was counting him lol

Yosei 01-25-2008 05:56 PM

Oh, yeah. Hm... I guess we can't count Lith? Since he doesn't really like Fiesta anymore D:
