Spam bots in non-town maps?
 

I just saw someone posted this on the official forum...

i thought it was bad enough that there are spam bots in Uruga...

now they've flooded other maps too?!?!

i thought someone said they use X-trap... how come it works for them and not for us...?

yesh, BK got X-Trap, and I think they have Monitors, just like rest of Asia, for Online games that keeps them out.

Or maybe people just aren't stupid enough to fall for scams like that? I dunno.

But I'm sure that BK's GM team would have dealt with it promptly... >.>

The bots are getting smarter. The other day, Loki and I were in the gold mine out of Uruga and there was a low-level in there (as in level 3 or below). She was programmed to spawn in a safe area but would pick up on ores that spawned close by. Even if a pinky killed her, she would "respawn" back in the safe spot and do it all over again. The strange thing was, she was not relogging, because her spawn spot was always back at the safe spot, and she was not "moving back to town", cuz it wasn't taking her to Uruga. Another strange thing about it was she never got the yellow light that appears on your character when you spawn into the game or anywhere else for that matter.

I'm not quite sure how but some bots have ways of "teleporting" around the map. I was grinding on the orcs right outside the mine entrance when I noticed a low lvled char. right in the middle of the orc-spawn. The orcs didn't aggro the char. so I figured that it was a bug. Then the next thing I know the char. aggros the orcs, appears right beside me, trains me, then teleports a fair distance.

While fighting the train she kept disappearing and reappearing closer and closer to the mine entrance. I killed the mobs and found her inside mining.

Loki has reported several of these "mine" bots and she actually received PMs back stating that they had been banned. It is a slow battle, but we try to screenshot them and report them everytime.

Its fun warring bots that are in guilds. They start going after you like you're a mob. So you can run around with them running after you.

How do bots join guild anyways?

some guilds are just extremely lenient or unwary of what could happen.

Some guilds just randomly invite you out of nowhere if you seem to be high leveled enough and guildless...

^^ That is a concept that makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would you randomly invite people into your guild that you know nothing about. Of course, my whole idea of a guild is somewhat different than a lot of the guilds out there.

It still makes no sense. There are too many people shouting out in Elderine that they want a guild. Why not just invite them instead of some random that doesn't even talk.

so they're not just KSing ppl now, they train ppl... they've really gotta start doing something about them!

once i saw a bunch of bots that locked onto Healer Avon in elderine, i think they were trying to kill it... it was funny~ wait.. not so funny.. i had so much trouble clicking on Avon...

Good i hate bots they Ksteal and everything they realy piss me off. They should play the game by tehm selfs not jus let some robot do it 4 them
