Death Penalties
 

I'm just wondering, are there any pentalties for dying? Ever MMO I have ever played had something negative about dying. Anyone know?

You lose 1% of your exp.

You also dont lost any EXP at lower levels.. i think its 1-10...

If you get to 50+, losing 1% won't be a "that's all?". From 50+ you lose over 10k...

Or 1-15? I remember dying at level 12 but I didn't lose exp.. I think... not sure though.

And yeah... in BK I was lvl 39 and like 10% tnl, and I had my armour, and my new wand +6 on me... well... I died from the lag-monster... and I dropped my armour D: I raced back to get it, suicided to get the armour, and realize that I dropped 48 T2 SP pots... >.>;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I had to run get those back too... which I died AGAIN... dropping my T2 Gem dusts... *sigh* that was... so "fun" ô.Ô

my low level storage character was carrying my things, and i got killed while running to eldrin. i dropped my mage level 78 armor (INT+37 VIT+30) that i bought for 10 gold, it was gone when i came back for it lol

Thank god its not like that on Outspark's Fiesta. People would hang out in the pvp zones just to take the stuff people drop >_<

But then Yosei picked it up for me. orz. =D

I dropped some pots and scrolls in BK, nothing really too much valuable. And I just lost 1% cause I got killed by Teddy-kun :(

I think I would rather just lose exp than items.

In BK do you lose exp AND drop an item? or is it just an item?

Both. But the exp isn't really an issue. Its best to make sure you're always with a trusting person, and before going out, dump all of your valuable unequipped items in your storage.

So it is only stuff in your pocket? You can't lose armour or weapons that you have on?

Um, I don't think so. So far I haven't seen someone drop anything they were wearing.

man thats sucks losing exp i can live with but also losing your items
it was like this in lineage 2 when i played that some years ago lvling was a pain in the @ss and when u die u lose a shit lot of exp and a change of losing your items armor or wpns and some where very exspensive like simple dual wpns of 2 mil making money was also hard and u need luck and some insane grinding skills thats why i dont play it no more

When u reach level 60 OR WORSE 70 and u die u lose like between 33k-120k exp, TRUST ME, that's horrible, if u die 10 times in a day U r likely to have lost everything u gained in grinding if u dont' grind in a very efficient way. ALSO if u solo u will make around 200-400k/hour THAT IS IF U R A FAST KILLING SOLOER, so losing 130k at level 70 ain't cool at all >_<.

I remember once I lvl'd up and I had a tradition of running out naked into the wilderness and getting PK's on purpose after lvling up! Well... once I took just 3 items with me, figuring that I'd keep them anyway. I accidentally did attack somebody after he attacked me (instead of relying on auto attack), so I lost my brand new Dragon Sword, my Rune Pl8 and Rune Legs. Grrr!

I frickin' wish... >.>;; that sounds real nice when the tank lags while AoE'ing, and everyone dies... then the clerics go "Alright... who has Teva?" So then he cares only about the people that don't have Teva...

Anyways... Teva pwns. But using it when you're lvl 50- is pointless... only when you're losing 10k+ xp each death in a dangerous area seems like the smartest thing... unless you have the money

Nope. Blessing of Teva is for 30 days.

That's why you get a Blessing of Teva premium item for 30days, or the leveling pack. :)

I cant find the one for 30 days... am i blind or their description is wrong..?

Hmmm, I have always gotten mine with the leveling pack, so I have never looked at Just the Blessing of Teva. Try looking in the packs section.

^^ that is why I bought mine when they went on sell. I bought one to use now and a couple to just hang on to for when I need them.
