*hugs fiestafan* yeah, they prolly over-loaded our smaller server since outspark was down. They prolly all went to here and FiestaHQ.

I was expecting to see this place spammed with

"outsparks down WTF?/?????//?????" type of threads.

well we had about 6 threads about the same thing...

blah was in the process of merging and locking some of the threads when we went down...

D: this is partially why I kinda don't want Fiestafan to get too popular lol. We'll just end up like he main forums.

yeah i was tempted to say on the official forum that they killed FiestaFan~

then i decided i dont want them to know about us HAHAHA

Well, we could make a thread asking them to be respectful to our site <.< Note that this sites server is smaller than theirs. I mean normally, there is less than 200 people on the official Fiesta forums half the time.

So.. if they go onto Fiestafan and see that Fiesta fan has near 100 or more people on it, to go to another fansite, or just sit and be patient.

somehow i dont think enough of them will listen to save our server if the official site does go down again...

and imagine wat it'll be like when the game is bakc up.. we'll hv like at the entire world trying to d/l the patch off outspark.... -can almost see the nightmare-

There are a select few of us that maintain a daily presence on this forum. I know that once Outspark came back up within the first 5 minutes, it had over 800 people already logged in. :eek: I like how this one is small and we all know each other. I hate ALL the threads all about the same thing. They are still doing it now, because the game is down.

I'm a regular on the forums, or well, a respected member. I post a lot on there. Maybe I should make a post?

cant wait till the game is back up.. not only so i can play.. but that moves a lot of ppl off the forums too...

i saw u vending, and realised u must've been sleeping and i thought i could possibly warn u not to log off so ur character is still in the game...

my launcher managed to allow me to log in... but cant connect to server...

wel i can see progress! shouldnt be long now...

(and ididnt see any patch loading, but then again they might not hv finished fixing it yet)

Hess - yep, but I couldn't do anything about it. I went to storage to deposit my nightly winnings and restock on scrolls and the game locked up on me and booted me. :eek:
So, I was out.

I was thinking of making a post showing your screenshot, explaining the sites smaller, and it cannot take everyone from Outspark, and that we do not know much more than they do when it comes to what the GMs are doing, and before coming to FiestaFan, to think, and if the site looks pretty populated, to stay off for a little bit, because this site will just end up crashing too.

Offtopic- Well all this is random but I was on when Hess took the screenie....So thats how it looks like for someone else. My name is always the last one on the list...

Please don't ask people not to come to Fiesta Fan. We've been losing members lately. If anything we need more people to come here, just not all at once.

I'm going to move the site very soon, so if this happens again, hopefully the site will be able to handle it.

Nothing wrong with a post mentioning what happened on outspark though.

I'm wasn't going to ask them to not come. I'm just asking them to not flood the site, expecting us to know all the answers as to whats wrong.

We are staying. It is our haven too. We just don't want our haven to crash anymore, just because outspark.com goes down. Then everyone floods this site with "the game is down" over and over. I stay here because I can't stand the official outspark site, because of that reason.

Yeah, I wouldn't post "Don't come to Fiestafan" I'd just say.. "Please don't spam the forums with 'the site is down wtf????' because we don't know any more than you do" If anything, it'll probably be a good advertisement. I'd add a little sugar to it ;p like "FiestaFan: the ultimate fiesta online community appreciates everyone coming here as a safe haven when the game and Outspark site is down, but we do not appreciate it when the site is flooded to maximum capacity with people asking the same questions that would be asked on here. We love helping you guys, but we cannot help you when the site crashes because 10 people are asking the same question that we cannot answer. We'd like to maintain a spam-free helpful and friendly environment."
