Post things you ponder while in the game. I'll start.(they don't have to be serious)

1. Why people have conversations in shout... when they're right in front of eachother. Are they trying to get peoples attention?
2. Why people shout that they're selling stuff and lack the most essential information, like "SELLING LVL50 +5"
3. Why is there a Statue of Liberty in the Sea of Greed.. is Fiesta in the future, and thats New York?
4. Why do people start yelling at a GM in shout when they do a server-wide announcement.

1. Why did players have to flame Steam and got him to go away?
2. Why are there people that are so retarded that asked questions that's answered in FAQs or the answer is infront of them.
3. Why do people flame you and harrasse you nonstop when stating an opinion?
4. Why do people beg for anything?
5. Why do people want to powerlevel?
6. Why do flame war start easily when 2 newbie players are around each other killing some mobs?
7. Why would people stalk another?

Why people have their shop names as "AFK - sleeping"?

1. We assume that you're AFK if you have a shop open.
2. We don't care.

things i ponder on... lately...

1. Why arent people selling me all the Summoned Beast Tail i need?
2. Why does the comp/decomp skill exp jump from 900 to 1000 to 2000 to 3000 to 7000 to 18000?
3. Why cant they let us use the F keys as skills hotkeys?
4. Why mage have got hte dispel skill and not us clerics?

Can we answer some of these?

I seriously do wonder why people talk over shout when they're literally next to eachother. Its like theyre trying to put on a show for everyone.

Yesterday I saw two people arguing over shout and while I was running around, I ran into the two people who were arguing, they were right next to eachother. So... I walked up, stood between them and said over shout "Why are you guys arguing in shout if you're right next to eachother?"
They got quiet after that.

hmmm a few things I ponder:

1- Why do people think players caused Steam to go away?
2- Why do players support Steam?
3- Why does'nt bleed work for Clerics
4- Why does'nt lightning work

o.0 here are the answers:

Who's Steam and what did he do? O_o

Steam use to be a GM... he did lotsa things... bit hard to summarise it...

but as far as i see.. he's by far the most active GM compare to others... he use to lurk in this forum and clarify issues for us....

now that he's gone.. we're left to fend for ourselves...

some others doesnt like him... not too sure why... but i PERSONALLY believe its coz those ppl are a rebel and steam probably tried to stop them from doing wat they want to do....

He was a GM and no one knows exactly, there's a lot of rumors.
Rumors I've heard:
He was fired because..
-Players petitioned for him to leave.
-a player reported him for deleting important and helpful threads.
He quit because...
-Players bothered him away.
-He had a contract.

But none of these are facts unless we hear it from Steam himself.

We should ask if another GM wants to join us lol.

there was a petition for him to leave? (like there was once upon a time a thread on the official forum?)

why do ppl hate him so much?

Which GM looks the next most active?

i think GM Wildfire recognises loki... and knows about us Fiestafanians... maybe we should pull a few strings on him =D

I just recalled another thing that i've been pondering about...

Why are those people who died right next to the elderine gates (usually in FoM and CP) asking for rev?

I reckon 90% of these questions could be answered with the same thing.

I died last weekend near the gates in FoM and got respawned in Roumen so that's probably why ;)

They probably lagged on the loading screen, so going back to town and coming back would just result in another death. >_<

That happens to me.

Ugh I hate that, especially when I was a noob mage.. my screen would load and I'd be dead.

I know\knew Steam very well because at a time we were friends he even had a alt character *Taltos* in my guild when I was playing on Apoline. So anything I say is pure fact and you can ask any of the 3 Original guilds from Apoline OR people in Collision who played CB2 and frequented IRC.

1:Steam did not leave because of a petition or because he quit..he was let go because all of the complaints that were recieved about him playing favorites.

2:Steam was active but dishonest and if you knew him well he was a asshole to boot. He quite often told people to shut up when they asked him questions on Apoline. Once one night he came on our vent server and went on to make a idiot of himself till we banned him * you can ask Bao or Illuminati people from Apoline.* Then he proceeded to log into the game and send the vent owner to prison.

3:Steam played favorites especially among the female sex. Many of you probably dont know LookitsAngel as she was known during CB or Cake which was her OB character on Apoline. But basically it went like this she broke a weapon refining and in the next few mins she had a +7 because she whined about quitin in IRC and remember the Angel costume i supposedly *won.* Even though I'm just as wrong as he was I helped him rig the event so i would *win* and give her the costume for 35 250% extenders and 90 day +5 to all stats pet * the Mini Boogie I had on Apoline* . I could keep going on about the stuff Steam did for people that was completely wrong but its water under the bridge and doesnt matter now. All in all if you look past the fact he was a asshole , he was a great guy just didnt know how to keep it honest.

He told me where to find him plan a simple. We had to do it again be Skizzy *MysticPops friend found me standing by him in that house onthe way to SoG so he went and hid in the back of the mines and I found him there. LOL i also said...if you can look past the fact of him being a asshole lol.

Why I pulled an allnighter last night... Oh wait, I know, I was having too much funsies and a messed up sleeping pattern XD

Probably trying to get shouting title, or trying to humiliate kill stealers?

I have questions too...
1. Why do people in outspark spam "selling fiesta gold?" i've tried all servers...
2. Why do so few people play game&game?
3. why do people expect others do drop whatever they are doing just to entertain them? like the guy who ksed my pt just because we would not stop fighting just to invite them.
4. why do people spam party invites/trade requests/guild invites, after i rejected them a few times and explained that i do not want to join/trade them?
5. why do people think that mages can heal them when they demand?
6. why do non-clerics overestimate their powers, and clerics underestimate their own powers? ive seen parties whose members stay so far away from each other that they cant be effectively healed, and i've seen clerics who dont know that cure can be used on bleeding. (these are players lv 30+)?

I can't tell you the number of people that have asked me for a heal or a buff. Ummm.... i'm a mage - I DON'T do that.


Here is my one question I ponder

Why do people shout they need help killing a certain mob, (Bored Boar Gang or something to that affect) and when you shout back you will help them, they never respond, they just keep shouting for help?

Duhhh...... I am offering to kill them for you.

I wonder why:

a. When I am in a noob party, the tank thinks he can take all the drops.
b. When i am in a noob party, people leave as soon as they complete their quest... when others of us still have just a few more mobs to kill.
c. On Bijou, some people create characters names by what they will sell (such as SCROLLS_FOR_YOU) but they price 3x above the market price... and people still BUY them!
d. Why does the server select screen always say that the population of the servers is LOW?
e. Do we ever get to kill Dragons at higher levels?

I can't stand in Elderine without people asking me for a buff. "Um.. this is a staff, I'm a mage o.o"

1.does anyone else think the character models look like kids?

2.trying to reasonably justify that the lvl 50. cleric mace does so little damage....look at the damn thing....
