Adrenaline Rush
 

okay, so here is what happened:

But first a disclaimer. Do not try this at home, it was performed by an experienced driver in not-so-controlled circumstances.
Second disclaimer: Lady-Loki, before you even ask, yes I was driving too fast, but it is your fault. I have the need for speed bred into me.

So, I am on my way home from work and I have my radio cranked up and really getting into it when the car in front of me decides it wants to STOP. :eek: Not slow down, but stop, with no indication that it wants to do this. So, I slam on my brakes and everything goes flying to the front of my truck, even my cell-phone, which was tucked under my leg. My tires lock up, rubber is squealing, and the rear end comes around on me and I start to fish-tail. Now, I hit my brakes hard enough that I did not hit the fool in front of me. I slid to a stop a few feet away from the idiot. But, after I stopped, my adrenaline was pumping. I mean it was a full-fledge adrenaline rush. My legs and arms were shaking, my right foot was jumping so bad I couldn't keep it on the pedal, a hot flash washed over me, and my heart was pounding in my ears.

I LOVE that feeling. Is that wierd? Anyone else out there love that feeling?

Everyone loves adrenaline rushes, but I wouldn't have loved that situation. I kind of would have been pissed. You'd love it here.. when its snowy, the roads are so icy, and its really hilly here. My mom and I were driving from from Christmas shopping when she realized we had to drive up the steepest hill in the town/village. It had been snowing really hard, but she tried. We almost got to the top when the van started sliding sideways and back down the hill, stuck on the train tracks that are conveniently located right at the bottom of the hill.

Don't know... Haven't done anything in a good while that would give me that kind of feeling... I think the last time I got close was... When playing with my friends on Lunia against the 3-10 boss. xD But anyways, gosh, that sounds scary. o_o I lack a need for speed, unless I was on a ride or something. ^^'

Oh yea I love that ^^ It is more amazing in the snow. Your going down full speed down a curve road covered in snow...Now thats a rush. And I do great drifts, just like in the movies.

My dad didnt like it though, I think he got three heart attacks and a couple dozen strokes before I was done.

OMG O.O Being in a car when its drifting is freaking scary. I was in my friends car when he decided to start racing..

It's better when your the driver I think...

But yeah, sounds like what I feel like when I go on rides at amusement parks.

Exactly. And you have to open your eyes all the way. :D

I have a fear of falling so rollercoasters suck for me D: I'll go on them, but only if people want me to.
