Red Eyes
 

Ok I have a question. I've already went though the wiki guide on enhancing but I either overlooked it or it wasn't there at all. I saw that red eyes decrease the chance by 50% or a 100%, but what I don't understand is why there are different grades of red eye. What do red eye grades 1-4 mean?

It depends on the level of the weapon you are enhancing.
Red Eye 1 is for Level 1 (note: NOT your required level) weapons. Which I think is your character level 1-20.
Red Eye 2 is for Level 2 weapons. I think those are your character level 30-??.
So on and so on.

Also, if you get the Perfect Red Eye, then it is a 100% prevenetion of your weapon breaking.

What about weapons level 20-30?

Level 1-20 includes level 20 weapons.

Okay, I must be misunderstanding something. Do you mean to say Red eye level 2 is for weapons 21+ because you went from red eye grade 1 1-20 to red eye grade 2 30+. :confused:

No. You start out with a weapon for your level 1 character, once you become level 8, you can get a new weapon, then again at level 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70.

The weapons that you get from your character level of 1-20 (this being the lvl 1, 8, 15, & 20 weapon) can use the Red Eye 1.

The weapons that you get for your character level 30, 40, and I do not know about level 50 you need Red Eye 2.

LOL. well thanks for taking your time away from work to help me xD. Now I can care less about degrading my weapon because i'd rather degrade it than lose it. I cant afford a new bow x__x.

LOL, when I looked back, you were already at 667. So much for that post xD. Anyways I got my bow to +6 yay!

It seems to get harder after you get it to +6. The highest I have gotten so far is +8.

I have 1 xir and about 3 perfect red eyes left. Dont know if I want to risk getting degraded lol.

Cash Stones (aka Red and blue and their perfect counterparts)
red and blue[1] - lvl 1 -20 armors and weapons
red and blue[2] - lvl 24 - 50 armors and weapons
(note there are no lvl 21-23 equips)
red and blue[3] - lvl 54 - 90? (I'm assuming 90)

Even with CS stones you only got to +8 Spirit? Or do you mean without? O.O That would be scary with a GGK or other high cost wep XD

Buy a stack of Perfect Blue Miles :)

1-20: Grade 1
30-50: Grade 2
60-80: Grade 3
90: Grade 4

And Armor from 90-99 is Tier (grade) 4 too.

That is even with CS Red and Blue. My failure rate is outrageous. Without the CS items I was stuck with what I could find to buy, because I VERY quickly gained the title of Unlucky enhancer. In fact, I think it was the first title I gained, lol.

LOL Ouch! I have so far got lvl 20 and lvl 30 wands to +9 XD. You could send some money to my paypal account throw some silver at me and I could make you some +9 weps :D

Lol, why thank you. As for now though, I'm only carrying sets of perfect red and blues grades 1 and 2 for me and whoever catches me in game ;D

That is my personal opinion, but I have always had bad luck with it.

Actually, I've had great luck upgrading my own stuff, but when it came to upgrading someone elses...don't expect any good news.

Enhancing is so expensive, and the success rate has to be lower. I used to fail just about 1:5, but now its like 1:8.

failing 1:8 times is better than failing 1:5 times. I think you miss typed.
