Accidental block
 

Ok I was trying to whisper my friend by right clicking their name in the chat, and I accidentally blocked her. I can't find the unblock option and I don't know how to unblock her. Can someone help me out?

You can't unblock as of right now, although when my game crashes it seems to unblock bots.

I maybe wrong tho.

I don't think you're unblocking bots... new bots are born everyday.

Maybe try to contact a GM and see if they can help you.

Just try relogging?

If you're using Windows, force-kill the process with Task Manager.

You could delete the file that stores blocked people. >.>

Some GM said that when you relog, it unblocks everything.

But I tried relogging too, and I still wasnt able to recieve messages from my friend. The crashing did the trick though.

Probably have to log out completely (as in not just the character selection or server screen)? Cause I know for sure at least a couple of those bots names were the same sometimes.

No, logging out/closing client doesn't unblock people. The names are stored in some file. (Can't look up, going to bed.) If it unblocks them after logging out, that might be a problem. I suppose crashing would reset that file.

So every time you log in, you have to block every single spammer again? (Lol, Yosei & fullback!)


Is it just me, or does it seem like they put less effort into banning spammers? A block option is nice, but it's no replacement.

Ok,these two questions are gonna make me feel stupid, but...Why are there bots anyways? Is it just people spamming or what?

I think they're just scam bots advertising websites that allow you to pay cash for in game currencies.

Here is the location of the blist file. Now I am not 100% sure if by deleting it, it will automatically rebuild itself, so use at your own risk. May be best for cut/copy/paste, so if it breaks Fiesta you can just paste it back in there. Again I am not recomending you modify any files. Only answering the question as to where it is located.

C:\Program Files\Outspark\Fiesta\ressystem\blist.shd


Also, there is another usefull file, that will store chat from a session. In case someone is harrasing you, or whatever you may need it for.

yeah in this case i would assume it meant quit game, QUIT LAUNCHER, reopen launcher, relog, etc.
