Level 60 Job Change Quest

Well I couldn't get screenshots of the first two parts of the quest but heres how it goes:

Part 1:

You meet grandmaster sean and he tells you to give the town chief in roumen something. You are transported to roumen where you see a bunch of newbi's with "???" as their name. The moment you talk to the town chief a mist of some sort surrounds you and every person on the map turns into a blood zombie.

Now these zombies are relatively weak, however their main strength is their Tier 3 poision which slowly but surely makes up for their lack of damage. You must kill all the zombies before the 20 minute time limit runs out.

Seeking the zombies out isn't hard. Just make your way to where robin would be in Roumen and you will have found them all.

Once your out you port to the real roumen, and talk to the real town chief. Dont accept grandmaster seans quest again because you will find yourself killing zombies.

Part 2:
Once you talk to the town chief you will be ported to a wierd room comprised of cards and everything you associate with a casino. In the center there is a roulette. You simply pick a dice and spin the roulette. If your lucky the marker will land on the dice that you selected. In which case a barrier to another room is opened.

I cant tell you what happens if you arent lucky - as I had the marker land on the dice that I selected the first time.

You simply kill the monster found in this room. He's relatively easy but he stuns. So dont be stingy and use your potions. Kill him and its over.

Part 3:
Once your done the previous part you will once again talk to the town chief. Except this time something strange happens and you are ported back in time, into the ancient elvin woods. Here you must find Roumen and Elderine and protect the two from an invasion of monsters.

You must keep both of them alive during the 20 minute time period. Monsters will spawn in waves, each wave with more monsters. Within the last minutes you will be flooded with tons of monsters comming from both directions.

The monsters themselves are pretty weak, but your goal is to keep the two alive. Fighters can mock and devastate to control aggro. The mob's deal very little damage so you can easily tank up to 30 or 40 monsters as an axe user. Archers can area poision and area shoot to keep aggro. Mages of course can AOE the heck out of the monsters. Clerics may have a more difficult time.

In the last waves there are more monsters than any classes AOE can handle. In which case your main goal is to keep as many of the monsters off of Elderine and Roumen as possible.

Interesting observations:
- Roumen uses a Zweilhander of sorts.
- Elderine is a female
- Roumen somehow looks like a child

.__________.

That looks a lot harder than the lvl 20 job change.
The fake town/people are pretty confusing, and the newbi are funny xD Do you still see the regular players in that job change? Like can you see people running around on hobbies?

And Elderine looks hawt. And she's an archer 8D But what's with her ears?

secbro20 12-21-2007 02:55 AM

WOW. that sound awesome. Did you finish? Is that all there is?

Blaaaaaaaah 12-21-2007 03:01 AM

Omgg that sounds so maddd and cool!

That's gotta be my new motivation to level up.. o:

Once you succeed in protecting Roumen and elderine you are given a necklace by roumen. You are then teleported back into the future in front of the Town Chief in roumen. Talk to him, and after a long conversation you will have completed the job change quest.

I know. Just reading that. Ok, I guess Ill lvl my archer to 60. I gotta do that O.O

Blaaaaaaaah 12-21-2007 03:05 AM

What's the next jobs called?

And do we still only get one choice into which job to change into?

Edit: And how many tries did it take you to complete it? Just one?

Enraya 12-21-2007 03:06 AM

The future? That was in that past? 8DDDD

Also my new motivation. Doubt I'll get there though xD

secbro20 12-21-2007 03:08 AM

Clerics would have a hard time..unless they could HEAL Roumen and Elderine? O.O

Enraya 12-21-2007 03:09 AM

True D=
Clerics should be able to heal =3 and they could draw aggro with heals too

Woah if we can't heal them then I think I'm gonna be screwed since my damage is the suck.

If you can heal, then it would be pretty cool. And, that would make it possible for you guys since you dont have an AOE

Enraya 12-21-2007 03:14 AM

Drawing aggro with heals would be cool =3

Zucchini 12-21-2007 03:14 AM

Elderine is just.. hawt. @_@

If we could heal npcs i think all we have to do is keep them alive while dealing dmg. XD

I think you're talking to Alan a bit too much, too much influence from him!!

And yeah, not sure if our heal can aggro much though since I've never healed NPCs before. o:

But maybe we'll be able to knock out some of the mobs when we keep swinging our hammers around and around! 8D

Hmm.. btw, Angellic, can I move this to Guides instead? Sticky worthy.

I was going to say the same thing, word for word.

Elderine is hawt. There, I said it.

Hyper 12-21-2007 04:03 AM

No, you can't heal Rumen or Elderine.
They regenerate HP over time.

I bet archers have the easiest time with the last part. So much AOE.
Good thing I'm not a cleric.

FatalLace 12-21-2007 05:07 AM

ahhhhHHHHHH spoilers!!! >.< lol... great guide, i'll read it when i get to 60! llol.

Enraya 12-21-2007 05:10 AM

I think fighters will get the easiest time with their taunt and stun ...

We archers get 1 AoE at least =D
The poison one, whatever it's called >_____<

Esen 12-21-2007 06:12 AM

I think Elderine would look better in a pale green, the color of her outfit bugs me. xD But she is very pretty. :O

Anyways, sounds nifty and kinda fun. Don't think I'll ever get to 60 though, haha.

a.L 12-21-2007 06:12 AM

I'm sure that all the damage numbers floating up will kill my computer. x_x

NOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo! Who told you that?? =[

Enraya 12-21-2007 07:12 AM

LOL. Haha xDD For once we get to see a dead Blaaaahs xD
It's going to be pretty hard for clerics then D=

Yosei 12-21-2007 08:46 AM

I just got 60 @.@ I'ma do mine tomorrow(gotta get HP pots). Knowing me, there will be too much going on on the screen, I will screw up and die. I don't have any auto attacks so I'm going to have to coordinate my skills and pot/stones. Unless I just AOE <.<

Ivramire 12-21-2007 09:35 AM

really wish i could do this ;_;

no Fiesta for me until january...256kb/s connection ftl.

It only took me 1 try. Although the first part with the zombies, well I kept repeating because for some reason I though shutain would port me to the real roumen....

I kind of over did the buffs a bit. Since fighters had a major stat decrease bug I had to make up what my defense, dexterity, and strength would normally be by using Tier 2 scrolls. Then of course I kind of over did it with my vitality (3.4K HP).

Sure it doesn't bother me, its your choice whether you really deem this a guide or not.

Just be potion and stone trigger happy. Every time I took damage I stoned or potioned - even though I didn't need to.

Blaaaaaaaah 12-21-2007 10:50 AM

Okie!

Moved to Guides and stickied!~

Triumph 12-21-2007 01:01 PM

I suppose this is where it pays to be a solo cleric build.

>_<

Yosei - I hope you plan to still do yours or at least add to it. I would like to know what it will be like for a Mage.

Yosei 12-21-2007 07:22 PM

I had already made a thread under guides, I just updated it.

Valentines 12-21-2007 08:55 PM

Sounds like a challenge.

Yosei 12-21-2007 09:10 PM

Kind of. For those who have aoe attacks, its easy.

I say we gang Tri, for no reason.

Or if you DO empower bash, we test it on Tri.

Ya... that's a good excuse.

;D

Sounds good. When's this happening? - Empowers bash -

We'll pwn him when he's on his nub. Get him while he doesn't have pants! 8D

Yosei 12-21-2007 10:49 PM

This quest must suck for clerics @.@ There's like 30ish mobs at one point.

Whenever you're ready.

Drake1 12-23-2007 10:32 PM

it won't be that easy for archers since their AoE has a long cooldown(30 sec)
but they have 2 (multi shot and nature's mist) one of thempoisons for (if they max it out) 47 dam. per sec for 20 which is over 800 dam. in all.

I won't lie. It's damn near impossible to keep the mobs off Roumen at the end, he's died twice at 10-20 seconds left. I was pissed.

Yosei 12-29-2007 12:52 AM

That sucks D: I was so afraid to let them die, lol. They kept wandering further off away from the fire.
