Things added to 12/18 patch (but they were too sneaky to say)
 

Well, the patch is up and it looks like they 'forgot' to add in a few details to the list of updates they put in. Thus, this thread is meant to be the full list of updates to the game. I KNOW I missed a good bit, so please post your findings.


First, the officialy said stuff:

Beauty Shop (Found in Game Items section of store)
10 Faces
10 Hair Styles
10 Hair Colors

Level cap raised to level 79
New Quests and Zones

Red Tuxedo/Wine Dress
White Tuxedo/Dress

5 Santa Suits (Found in Event Items section of Fiesta Store)
5 Santa Hats (Found in Event Items section of Fiesta Store)
Dog Sleigh (Mount) (Found in Event Items section of Fiesta Store)

Now the 'added in but we forgot to tell you, matters:


(unconfirmed) Fix to uncompletable quests (only Gold Hill 3 is confirmed).
New dances (currently replacing the old Dance 2-5: old ones will return later)
New Critical animation
Class icons on teammember icons (hover over it and it'll tell you their class)
Block option (Ignore command. Right click on person's text to find it.)
New icon for Floatation Stones
New Sand Hill map
New 'prettier' world map


Also:

Christmas themes including:

- Background music (in char screen and in towns)
- Snow graphics
- Christmas tree in the cities
- Christmas quest in Elderine for a 30 day santa hat.

Yea I'm loving the criticals.

I fear i'm exploding with the new crits.

Oh yea, love the block as well. Just used one today. It's helpful, and it avoids unnecessary spam and guildwars :D

Lightning:

Matchmaking is done simple here: They have a list where you can register, leaving a message with what kind of party you want (i.e. "Need party for Keblings"). Others, (or you) can click on one of those messages, if it interests them, and use the buttons to send a whisper or a party invite. Just like that, you have a party.

Trickster did it better IMO, but it's still nice.

As for the last sentence, this isn't a "Wish list", or a "should be added". This is a list of things that WERE added in with this last patch. Unlike other patches, they not only put in what they said they would but added in things they didn't say (like the quest fixes, or Block).

Blocking and matchmaking are the most useful things they've done yet I think. The new crit animation is nice, but they seem to have taken out the screen shake that used to come with it and I liked the shake.

My guess: because they weren't 100% sure it would work.

I have a feeling that the Nov patch really WAS meant to fix the quest bugs like they said, but it failed, causing ALOT of anger. In such a situation, it's better just to stay silent: If it works, say 'suprise' and if it doesn't, no one's disappointed.

Concealed Peak Epic Quest can now be started (lvl 41)
Ugly Goblin 2 now can now be completed (lvl 41)
Woz's Tresure 6 can now be completed (lvl 42)
Smelting Weapon for Fighter can now be completed (lvl 47)

I havent hand my quest in yet, but i'd assume that Smelting Mage Weapon quest should also be fixed.

WOO HOO!

Btw, according to Cretz's announcement, the block feature resets when u relog (probably have to close the game and open again) so yeah.. that's how u undo it in case u blocked your friend =D

The new critical animations are giving me seizures. >_>

Anyone reckon they increased the crit rate? I seem to be critting a LOT more than I used to.

Im critting just a much. 5% from +25 SPR and 9% from bow. 14% crit rules :D. The new crit thing O.O. Gees. It shakes the whole screen even more, but its flashy, and I like.

Yeah I like the new crits as well. It makes me go :eek: every time I crit.

I went onto my full SPR nub archer and went to shoot some green mobs, and I critted like there's no tomorrow. So basically.. I went :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: when I killed a mob.

I love the new crit effects. It makes it seem more powerful and gives me a ego boost.:D

@.@ I critted 4 times in a row yesterday.

i got 6 crits in a row last night and i swear my eyes are still twitching cause ot it lol.....i love the new crits and all but when it happens to many in a row its gonna give someone a seizure lol, hope that actually doesnt happen and outspark get sued or something haha

LOL!! cant tell if they increased the crits coz i bought the suit... (25% crit rate :eek:)

but they're definitely more noticible now!! at 1st was like OMG wat's happening to my screen!! then it keeps happening.. finally i realised it was a new crit animate....
