Domo question(s)
 

I went on domocamp and it's pretty much dead. The official NA forum is even deader (if that's a word). So, i'm asking my fellow Fiesta players (soon to be Domo players :) ) for some little help/guidance.

Ok, i have a big problem with the fonts; because the letters are either blurry (just a little) or they're just bad fonts. Is there a way to change the fonts?

From reading what domocamp has, it seems most builds are made up of wis, dex, or combination of both, for most classes. Is this so from your own experience? And from what i can gather, race does not play a major role on which classes would be best of it. Thanks.

It looks like I might end up a doctor or a thief.

Any suggestions for builds on those? e.e

reading thru domocamp, doctors are a tad more difficult to level up. While, thieves are good AoErs, since they have a high evasion. That's what i've gathered so far from reading.

I was thinking about either going for a thief or shaman and sub doctor, so i'd be able to heal myself. Unlike Fiesta, there's a 1 minute cooldown on pots :p Which is quite alright, i'd think PvP would be something interesting to participate in without pot'in every 10 sec.

I got some info about you gettin slightly a bigger bonus if you start a certain race with different classes. This info was for CB but they might have not changed.

Well thats why I have you guys right? I can party with you guys and then when I can auto-cast my heals we'll be invinsible. Now I just gotta get enough Agi to auto-cast...

So thru out me playing, every now and then, I would see a red line going to another person. Didn't pay much attention to it. Then finally this morning, i saw it again and was looking at my character's portrait and saw that the pink circle heart was blinking madly. So then i realize that the other person at the end of the red line was my "perfect" lover. So, i talked to the guy and we did the relationship thingy, but didn't see any changes. What are the special stuff lovers can do?

Btw, i went for a shaman sub doctor. I'm level 13 so far and 2-shotting the zombies, loving it :)

Ok, just found out something about Domo and just posting it here :D
There's a better version of Domo, but needed to pay and is only in Taiwan. Domo is just a free version with worse(no other word choice, sry :/) gameplay, etc. of the better version one. Why can't they release the better version in US D;, i missed it

To change the ingame FONT on DOMO:

Go here:

C:// -> AeriaGames -> DOMO -> Main -> Config

Open this file:

ExecParam.ini

Scroll down to the [UI] section, and change these lines:

FONT12=
FONT16=
FONT18=

Basically you can type in any font you have on your computer. You CAN change all three fonts, but since FONT18 was already Arial by default on mine, I left it intact. I only changed FONT12 & FONT16, because those are the obnoxious font used in chat and your item descriptions, skills, etc.

So, my edited lines look like this:

FONT12=Verdana
FONT16=Verdana
FONT18=Arial

EDIT: I first tried Verdana, which was fine but stacks of arrows no longer displayed the number that they had in them, so I had to change... most fonts are really small so I had to squint which is never good, causes headache, etc. So finally I found a good one. MS Sans Serif. Yeah, boring as hell, but it works well. Recommending it.

Is it a graphic issue, because that wouldn't make sense. This game has the same graphics requirements as fiesta and I run fiesta with no problems

I got a problem. Each time I try to go on DOMO I get a Blue Screen of Death...Once it said the Files are corrupt...I dont know if this has happened to you..

Wow, I haven't had that problem and I don't think I've actually encountered the Blue Screen of Death since Windows 98... :p

Sounds like something got corrupted during installation. Try uninstalling, then do regular maintenance just to prep for install, defrag, registry cleaning, etc..., and then re-install it.

Yea I hadnt gotten it since I was playing Knight Online and a patch made everyone BSOD for a month...Anyway I'll try that and see if its any different ^^

I'm Stilgard in there. I'm on now, but not really playing. I just set him up mining while I do other stuff. I'll probably try to get a good AOE grinding party tonight though since apparently I'm not doing anything else :rolleyes: (real-life friends are less reliable than game people sometimes)

No that's not it. Ill move behind my character when there is nothing there and it still does that.

Yeah, the Computer I've got is an Intel. It sucks a ton :/

I decided to stop playing Domo yesterday, because keeping an eye on the durability on my weapons/armors started to feel like one heck of a chore :/ But anyhoo, I had a blademaster on there, and I'm running the 25 dex/30 phys/rest into str build
