I made a pure str archer.

And it pwns in a party, but soloing is hard work.

true.. if you solo.. your gd as broke.. not dead but broke cuz youll spending alot more on pots

I really think that they should add a stealth skill or increase archers run speed...



but thena gain that would be overpowering, wouldn't it? xD

They should just make Archers DEX based damage dealers, that would even up the power balance.

i support archers and is gonna use 1 when cb2 and ob start but if u make dex based damage dealer it will most likely spoil the power balance and alot of people will ask for a archer nerf(can see it already :()

what i like bout this game is they up all ur stats every lvl. if u do not use that stat point what u left is the basic archer. choosing where u wanna place that point is what makes the difference.

if u make the dex the damage bases the every archer will just pump dex and that will spoil the game every archer will be the same. is the same like say we should mak int up our mana then no mage will pump anything into spr then there is no point in the game.

it just no very fair to the other classes if one class get more benefit from a certain stats. hope u understand what i mean ;)

and if you think about it, dex making a bow stronger doesn't really make sense.
you need strength to pull the bow and to hold the bow steady! not dexterity!
dexterity is mostly how nimble you are and how well you can aim (crit)
it would make a whole lot more sense if they change dex into the crit factor rather than spr but
it takes too much trouble to change this and the other versions probably didn't so this version probably wont change it either =\ nice hopeful dreaming though lol

Not really if they keep the increase in damage smaller than that of a Fighter and/or Mage.

We are the least of concern for being overpowering. Though I don't think making Dex the damage base, I think we should get some skills that can help in pvp and pvm. Like running quicker or something like Silent Arrow on flyff, where the player or monster will not be able to use any magic. That would be cool :cool:

anything to stop those really annoying clerics that just spam invincible no matter what. They get what they deserve >.>

I wonder if a full SPR build would work for Archers.

If only SPR would cause a critical knockback like FlyFF, so then those monsters can't attack us. XD

Yeah, if there were knockbacks that would be awesome. If Archers also had x4 crit rate as well. :p

that would be nice *sighs* a good archer *-* I just hope we get SOMETHING out of CB2 besides bugs being fixed and stuff..but give us something else to work with.

Yea, I hope something'll be added to even out the classes. I found it really hard to transition between soloing with my fighter and soloing with my archer.
