O-mie's Tutorials~ <3
I seem to get asked for drawing / coloring tutorials a lot, so I decided to start making them x3 Kekeke! Anyways, I don't claim to be perfect (always far from it :3) and my techniques aren't perfect either, and they're not the "Right" way to do things, they're the way that works best for me. So, they may not work great for you, but its worth a shot anyways! Only have one so far that NotTaken requested. Figure Drawing Basics~ More to come as I make them~ <33 |
woah..you draw like my friend & this guy I met that draws anime
Edit: Ty for turtoials Edit, yes..again o.O: I always have hard time drawing faces, hands, & feet, can you do a tutorial of that?..I can draw any other part ok, but no those :/ |
It's great.
I don't know why you think it's horrid. =x |
Lmao because it was rushed xD and my hands were (are) freezing D:!!! |
WAOH!! that is neeeeeeat~~

YAY TUTORIALS!!
I was wondering if you ever made tutorials. xD Now that I have time I should start practicing how to draw properly. o: Thanks! -bookmarks page- |
So what LOL.
It's still good. |
Do you have an imagination tutorial coming up?
|
I have a bunch of older ones but I've sent them to Davey Jones >_> Lmao |

He owes me money.. |

Hehe, nifty. ^_^ Hmm... Now that I think about, I've never went outside of a straight back. D:
Never said this before, but when I first saw your drawings, I was amazed. xD I like your style. You draw sexy female hips, too. n.n |
Haha I'm flattered xD But I've got a long way to go @_@ thank you though x3 |
I wish I had drawing skills. If you think that's bad... *sends to doctor*
I just have school-related skills. ]: Plus Fiesta skills. Ooh, and "finding stuff on foreign laguage sites" skills. :D I <3 BK. Quote:

No, I'm jk. xD Trying to be on topic: I love your coloring style. :D Wait... That has nothing to do with the current tutorial... Hmm... *scurries back to project* |
Yeah, because in Omie's magical world where everyone has magic flying cars, and everyone can draw like DaVinci, me = stalker.
Yeah... Nice drawings. They looked shiny. <3 |
Your pictures are great!! COLOUR MY PICTURES! j/k :P Damn I want a tablet for colouring T.T My mouse skills = lvl 1 cleric attacking a fighting mushroom.

I play around with photoshop sometimes, but this is not tablet so the result looks hideous.
|
I only use my photoshop for design work. I just like making abstract backgrounds with photoshop. Btw O-Mie your first few steps aren't very clear...
|
When you add the physique to the stick figure, do you use a see-thru paper (however you call it) to draw the physique over the stick? Or draw on the same paper as the stick then erase the stick once the physique is done?
|
Well I was using photoshop hehehe, but when I sketch on real paper - I use a lumograph blue pencil (its color is used in animation, when you scan it doesn't pick it up) and then I go over it in a HB pencil. x3 Those leads are very expensive though - the blue ones. However if you're serious about pencilling I highly suggest picking them up, a lead holder up, and a lead pointer up. x3 Staedtler has some nice ones, the ones I use =D And zotius - oh well. >_> |

But sometimes, even with a tablet, I find that I can't draw very smooth lines often unless I draw it quickly. If I draw it slowly it becomes all wiggly and stuff. D:
|
You need a steadier hand. D:

Yeah I have that problem too, sometimes it depends on your tablet. If its a knock-off tablet they tend to skip a lot, but i still have problems with my wacom at times. Sometimes drawing close up will diminish the squiggly lines~ |

wat's a wacom?
