I know my hair is short but c'mon...

LOL. Yeah my cousin has a really short haircut and people thought she was a guy, like at restaurants they'd be like "sir...I mean ma'am.." and at school her friend was like "you'd make a really hot guy." xD

My boyfriend has gotten mistaken for a girl from behind. He has long-ish curly hair. But he's hairy and not very curvy o.O

Does being titled Mr instead of Ms count?

Some people seem to think that my name sounds like a guy's name.

Lady: uh, no you can't. I'm his wife.
*me thinking: that sounds kinda blunt*
Me: *explains why I'm calling*
Lady: I see. Well you can't talk to him cos my husband passed away.

The way Americans say it, it sounds masculine, but I guess the way Australians pronounce it makes it sound more feminine. I like it though, I think its unique.

and aw @ blahs post. That'd definitely feel awkward. I thought it was going to turn into the awkward phone call I got years ago on my cellphone. I was about 16 when I got a phone call. It went something like:

Me: Hello
Lady: Who is this?
Me: Katie... who is this?
Lady: Why are you calling my husband?
Me: I didn't, this is the first time I've received a call from this number.
Lady: Your number is in my husbands phone.
Me: Maybe it was a wrong number.
Lady: Stop calling my husband!
Me: I don't know your husband!

Reminds me of a (probably) drunken text I received. I got a phone call past 10 PM which rarely happens and because it was an unknown number I didn't pick up. Then soon after I get a text going

Stranger: hey we're close by can we stop by at your place???
Me: I believe you've got the wrong number.
Stranger: otaj jeaoojs
Stranger: okay tyajn
Stranger: thanks
