Bestestest Kingdom Quest Evererer =D
 

Yeah ok remember how I was like ranting about this stupid kingdom quest a short while ago?

Well I just had my best kingdom quest today. =D I was about to post this in the thread I posted earlier but naaah~~! Anyways! STORY TIME!

In this kingdom quest, not a lot of people joined. Only 8 people joined. One guy was screaming for everyone to join as well. But when we got in, only 6 people appeared. So.. two was missing for -some- reason (yeah, and the guy who was shouting for everyone to join wasn't there as well... :rolleyes:).

So in the end, we had:

• Aise: Archer - Level 16
• Clayton: Cleric - Level 15-16
• GodOfEvil: Mage - Level 13-14
• Mamamiya: Cleric - Level 11-12 (I think)
• Joee: Mage - Level 7-9
• And me: Cleric - Level 13-15

Yeah, no fighters D:

So everything was normal at first and we took our time working our way through the rings. Halfway through, GodOfEvil had to leave, so there was only the five of us at the end (well, technically 4... since Joee couldn't do much D: But he did try and help nuke some monsters I think!)

Anyway, we thought we wouldn't be able to defeat the King Slime. I mean, no fighter here to tank, and no mages to do a lot of damages.. it already wasn't looking good. But we tried anyway and came up with a plan: Aise (archer) tanks the king slime (she was tanking most throughout the quest), while I heal non stop (I was a full STR cleric so I couldn't tank as well). When the king slime spawn monsters, Clayton and Mamamiya would kill the spawned monsters since they ca heal themselves while Aise drags the king slime away. In the mean time, Joee was running around like mad because the spawned monsters were chasing him. Sadly, he couldn't make it in the end and got spawned back to Roumen after dying 3 times.

Spamming heal like there's not tomorrow. Lol, I love this screen shot. It looks like Mamamiya is really "looking around" for the king and scratching her head going "it died?! o:" xDD

After a period of HP stone/pot spamming, heal spamming, lots of running away, a bit of death here and there, we finally reached the time where the king slime spawned the two prince slimes and the queen one. God, I salute Mamamiya and Clayton. I have no idea how they managed to handle those! I didn't take much notice of them cos I didn't want to distract myself and let our main tanker die, but I saw that Mamamiya had great escaping skills. Then finally, Aise killed the king slime! And she rescued the rest of us by killing the other big slimes =D She's awesome.

So, at the end of 15 minutes of tears, blood, and death, WE SUCCEEDED! With time to spare as well!

I was so happy =D I mean, we finished a kingdom quest with an ARCHER as a tanker and soloing the king slime (along with only ONE cleric healing her), and only two clerics (one is level 13 as well!) taking on all the other mobs~ o: Miracle! Now, I may rethink about creating an archer in OB. Before, I was all "archer suckkkssss I'm not making one again!" but Aise's awesomeness is making me think again.

In the end, I only got a +2 weapon, but Clayton got a +6 and gave it to me since he already had one. I love him.

So yeah, that's the end of my story. =D I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed completing the quest. Comparing this with the other bunch of people I ranted about, this small group of people are godly. But yeah =3 I MADE NEW FRIENDS! Lolol xD

Nice job! Tho i was told pure STR clerics kinda suck =P, anyway in the next CB(dunno if there will be one) or in OB we maybe can run into each other in these KQs, who knows lol.

Heh yeah pure STR cleric isn't going very well at the moment, although I haven't tested out properly since I've been doing kingdom quests more. But since it's CB, I decided to muck around and try it! =P It can't suck more than my archer anyway D'x

Nice, but.. I once completed my KQ in 10minutes. Was an awesome team. =]

I just hope they open kingdom quests for all lvls.

And Congratz on kicking down King Slime with so few ppl.

I attempted to solo a KQ since nobody else joined on my level 10 mage lol I didnt make it so far though.

That looks like a really fun KQ. Most of the KQ i entered are pretty much fighters tank it all.

for me fighters are useless... i mean clerics sometimes do even more dmg then fighters and tank better because of buffs and heal, oh and they got some good def too... all the times i went to a KQ with my cleric when he was 10+, i was the one that tanked the King Slime. I hope this changes in the next CB/OB/w/e, its not clerics that need to have less power, its the other classes that need a power up.

Clerics are 'gods' imo. They got a buff that makes monsters near the same level do 0 dmg. They got hp increase buffs(Later on in the levels). They can heal theirself, but not like its needed when monsters can do 0 dmg.

that buff only lasts 20 seconds, if you empower it you can make it 30 seconds, and it wont last 20 seconds if the monster is too strong, it will take less time, sometimes when there are like 5 monsters around you, it just stays there for like 5 seconds and it wastes some good mana, like 40 sp per buff, its maybe a little too much, that skill they could maybe change, dunno ... tho i dont think clerics are god because of it, the skill has its weakness, but i still think the other classes are too weak...

Am I the only one who didn't get ridiculous amounts of End of my Cleric? o.o

I just tried killing some mobs of my level, and I'm doing good so far. It's not that bad yet... way better than my archer Dx Even my mage, because mages have too many cooldowns, and I always have to run away, it gets annoying D:

Cause my friends were like screw Teva. I don't necessarily like crowded places tbh; kq's are crowded as they come in Apoline. I also don't expect to bump into anyone in FW anyways..Who would remember a nub RM? lolol.

*Cough* No one said that <.<

Anyway, even if Apoline is "newer" it's not less crowded. Just logged in to see Teva on "good" and Apoline on "full".

And who's fault is that? Then again, just because there's more people playing, doesn't necessarily mean they're all grind freaks or something. It doesn't seem like we have that much competition tbh.
