Im bored D:

Destrus 11-22-2007 03:31 AM

pretend to watch porn for 10 minutes then ask them which they'd rather have you do

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 03:34 AM

Watching porn's more healthy, so I'm guessing the latter.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!

viasta 11-22-2007 03:35 AM

I don't watch porno :/

my parents said I don't read enough eventhough I read 1 chapter per day for Biology and History :/

Pritcher 11-22-2007 03:38 AM

Ever read for fun? There are tons of good books out there. I'm sure that's allowed even when grounded. Try it you might like it, lol.

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 03:38 AM

Porn is also available in novel form, so it's win-win.

viasta 11-22-2007 03:40 AM

Books boring now since parents make me read everyday :/..it's stupid, they won't even let me do basketball in the backyard :/

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 03:45 AM

Stupid Korean parents.

viasta 11-22-2007 03:55 AM

Taiwanese parents :/

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 04:00 AM

Close enough.

You should read (or reread) the "Life Account of a Gay Wizard: Dumbledore".

Er....I meant Harry Potter. Yeah, that book.

viasta 11-22-2007 04:01 AM

I hate harry potter series D:, hate the book and hate the movie :/..now I can only chat on forum :/

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 04:03 AM

How does it feel like to hate life?

viasta 11-22-2007 04:05 AM

life sucks, I would suicide, but im not gonna do it, since I have other things to take care of

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 04:06 AM

Wise decision.

viasta 11-22-2007 04:09 AM

My parents think I shouldn't do anything but read..my life is boring :/..I can have fun in school now, that's it.

Tadiakichi 11-22-2007 04:14 AM

No no, when I was grounded, they hid my internet modem. And my computer was in my dad's room, so bleh. I had no TV in my room, just a bed and a desk. I read Vonnecut, Terry Pratchet, Douglas Adam, and Orwell during those weeks I was grounded. Time went fast D:

viasta 11-22-2007 04:16 AM

My comp is in the diner room..:/ wth..my parents said "computers and TV will mess up your head if it's in your room"

Hessah 11-22-2007 04:23 AM

typical...

i'm surprised u can still come onto the forum! keke

John Marsden is my favourite author... his Tomorrow Series is pure awesome! i'm still reading it~~ its about teenagers out there blowing things up during a war... its not the boring history stuff

viasta 11-22-2007 04:26 AM

I think I'll go see Forest Gump now :/, if it's on

Destrus 11-22-2007 05:14 AM

last time i was "grounded" (i suppose it's the same thing but we use different words for it) i completely ignored what my father said i wasn't allowed to do and did it anyways and he couldn't stop me.

Pritcher 11-22-2007 05:16 AM

I don't think I've ever been grounded. :/

viasta 11-22-2007 05:17 AM

haha, you go against my parents and they hurt you

Hessah 11-22-2007 05:18 AM

yeah i've never been grounded before either...

but we're so limited in wat we can do (1 hr TV, 1hr internet) i guess there's not much reason for them to stop me from doing it... coz for the rest of the time i had nothing to do but study...

Zotius 11-22-2007 05:19 AM

I've only been grounded once for like 1/2 a day because the grounding didn't go very well...

Hessah 11-22-2007 05:22 AM

i wanna hear the story! why didnt it go well?

Esen 11-22-2007 05:24 AM

I was never grounded, I was banned from the computer for 1 week once as I was hogging the telephone line back in the day of no DSL. When was a kid, I had a 10 minute time-out for playing with the powder you put on a baby's bottom (the word has escaped me). xD During the time period, I was also punished by getting whacked on the hand by the wooden handle of the feather duster thingy.

As for books, for me, some I find so interesting, I just can't put it down. For other books, it's a major struggle... Haha.

Now I must paint! @_@

Zotius 11-22-2007 05:26 AM

Well I was locked in my room for the first part... Then my brother came in to get something. On the way out he pissed me off and I beat him up. Then later I got bored after staring at the ceiling so I started climbing to the top off my bed and then jumping off to practice breaking a fall. My parents thought it was super noisy jumping onto a wooden floor. So I stopped. Then I took my phone and blasted the music so my parents asked me to go out with my friends for the rest of the day.

viasta 11-22-2007 05:26 AM

I think studying nonstop does nothing but stress the kid :/, i know some random general knowledges like the ones Steam asks but he never gave me any price, but i never learn anything really from studying, I learn most of my every knowledge from National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, History Channel, G4(about games :D), sport channels such as ESPN, and movie channels for entertainment

i see that u live in a true azn family!

my mum just through my stickers away when i misbehaved back when i was a kid... she ripped the new stickers my godma gave me... and tossed it in the bin...

my godma got so upset when she found out XD

Esen 11-22-2007 05:32 AM

Haha, yeah, true when I was a kid. As I grew up, my parents mellowed out. For example, my dad would accept even a C if he knew that we were honestly working our hardest. However, if we were to get a B on something he knows we can get an A on, he gets upset. My youngest brother didn't experience the same punishments me and my younger brother did. xD

Pritcher 11-22-2007 05:32 AM

I think my mother said when I was really young, like pre-teen, I was very well behaved. I don't really remember though. Teenage years, I was just honest and respectful for the most part. I did things that would probably get most kids grounded, but I never got caught and I was mature and responsible about the stupid stuff I did, lol. My mother trusted me.

My father and I shared a sort of mutual apathy for one another and just left it at that.

@viasta- you'll be surprised at the random bits of knowledge that stick with you from studies, but yeah you can actually learn a lot from other sources too. It's mostly just filler until college-level studies when you actually choose what you want to learn.

Zotius 11-22-2007 05:37 AM

For me I can only learn stuff I'm interested in. If I'm really really interested in the subject, I can simply read through it a few times and remember most of the important points. If I hate the subject I will not be able to learn it at all. Take for example Chinese. I've been learning it since Primary 1, 7 years already. But yet when I try to do even a Primary 4s work I'll fail.

a.L 11-22-2007 05:39 AM

I remember my parents used to beat me with a stick when I was young. I can run pretty fast, and that's probably where it came from, lol.

Destrus 11-22-2007 05:40 AM

Haha, I don't need physics for my major, but I'm going to take anyway (even if it requires me an extra math class). xD I hear it's hard, but I might want to go for a Masters in Arch... so yeah. As for English... that is currently my best subject. I worry less about papers than about art projects.
