we have two in the living room, one for my grandmother where she sits and one for my mother at her computer.

I have one that I carry around my room with me. I'm doomed if I leave it on my beside table but I'm at my computer. Such a long walk.

I don't even have use real remote. I have an app on my phone that acts as a remote over my WiFi network. Same thing for my Blu-Ray player (that plays *.mkv and *.avi files). I may be a bit of a tech geek.

Righty was talking about having two remotes for the same TV, Sparky. So when you listed all the places, it was assumed that those were locations you kept a remote for the same TV, implying that they were all in the same room.

That means u can turn on/off/switch channels on your TV even if you're in the next room?

We prob have 3 remotes that works for the TV, but we only use one that gets moved around between the dining table and the sofa...

Yep. It'll work as long as my phone is connected to my home network. Trust me it has been used to great comic effect. Same thing with my pc. I have a remote media player.
