WOOOOW archers are so unbalanced on damage its insane!! So heres and idea for pvp
Archers, until outspark fixes your damage you're going to have to go mage style. maybe for the most dmg possible go 33 dex for all aim then rest Str. if this doesnt work just straight quit for real cuz this is insane. The main class you should worry about is the fighter class, the build is to kill them before they can get ya. make sure to have full cooldown and dmg on natures mist and piercing shot. your pace should be a constant barrage on the fighter. if you still cant kill them without SC then just stop pvping with archers unless you're mage hunting. you should get a good mage hunt in until lvl 100, which then wizards will eat you, but warlocks wont.

Archers best fights will be against fighters lol.

HAHAHA holy crap, is there any way you can figure out hw to work for outpark's game designer? Whoever it is needs serious help if they can find out how to balance out classes. Maybe at least recruit game testers? So hey guys if you had to decide, what would you change about archers kiting, skills, and survival expectancy?

I could agree with the speed increase and crit buff but the evasion buff would have to be really high. I noticed with my archer fighting tricksters they dont get enough misses. 3 hits+ crit = scared trix.

Wow, until now? Seriously .-. lol I actually thought things were a bit more balanced for us when I logged in a few days ago and killed something just a few levels lower than me. I haven't played in ages but that took less than a second, a lot faster than before I can tell.
As for going against fighters in PVP... Forget it. Try not to. rofl under some or most circumstances, fighters will always dominate archers in PVP. And as for archers relying on this thing called "Evasion," pfft. You wouldn't even have to ask anyone how easy it is to insanely raise your aim, even if you're a fighter. You can see for yourself. |
Yeeep she's right archers are doomed. Guess they need a new skill or a super speed buff cuz they fall to the axe.

I just now take back what i sadi about archers (always) falling to the axe. I created an archer with a tank build except using spr instead of str and more end than spr. the build allowed me to survive stun and the following beatdown enough for me to run away. only eceptions are +10 charms and skins, which i may get later on. Try this out and see for yourself.

They aren't called underpowered for no reason. If u like pvp then go create a fighter not a archer. And Mage hunt?? O.o They will just own u dude. I suppose u've never seen one of those charmed sc mages who kills u off before u can even react? |

Any archer with +9 Blues and a +9/+10 weapon with SC suit has the ability to own ANY class. That's about how it goes for any class. I have seen NicoOlivia (110 Ranger) kill a glad wearing entirely +9 SL gears with a +10 SL axe. Whoever says archers don't have enough damage is wrong. Archer is not a doomed class, they're fixed fairly well. Fiesta has increased the DEF on archers gears, most people haven't realized that. Archers gears are now extremely similar to that of a clerics gears. The reason you don't see it is because you have to enhance the gears in order to see the difference. Fighters gears will always have the most defense. Then clerics gears. And then believe it or not, is an archers gears. Also while fighters gears tend to have fail mdef, archers gears have balanced mdef, meaning they are the best class for taking out mages. While it mostly depends on Jewels, since they add the majority of mdef, archers gears by default have 2nd highest mdef (being only lower than clerics gears) until about 9x/1xx where mage gears start to increase in mdef. By default +0 weapon and gears, sure a glad will be able to kill an ranger/ss however tell me how many times that is the case? Almost never. In reality it's just about who has put more money into the game getting more godly enhanced gears than the other person. |
