So, as you know the Trickster class was released in last night's (this morning's) patch.

Here are some tidbit information from playing the class briefly (up to level 15; trying not to out level King Slime T_T).

Fast attack rate
High critical rate
High evasion
Number of DoT (single-target) skills
Unique soul capture system

But of course there are some downsides to the class as well.

Low (and I mean low) defense and HP
No ranged attacks
No AoE (may change in the future but for now none)
Souls are only generated by skill and is renewed with each mob
- Though the finishers are pretty strong so it may balance out
Apparently gear is non-tradeble at the moment (heard at forums/in-game)

So it's an extremely squishy melee class. It's a kill or be killed sort of thing. They would most likely excel in 1v1 and will focus on skill spam. Both my HP/SP stones are making me cry right now... if you plan on playing this class for awhile you'll want to be able to create your own potions as well as expand that stone capacity.

Stats-wise you're looking at STR, DEX, SPR. As I usually have recommended in the past, if you don't carry a shield don't invest in END free stats. Get high END gear if you need HP and enhance for defense or in the case of the Trickster, spam your skills before your enemy knows what hit em.

Weapon choice is claws or dual swords. Claws have higher Aim and Critical Rate with faster attack rate at 1.6s. Dual Swords have higher damage but lower Aim, Critical Rate and slower attack rate at 1.8s.

All in all, a fun class to play. Love the fast attack rate.

Oh, I heard that the other classes have received a bit of a re-vamp with skill animation. They are so shiny and awesome looking that it lags the hell out of the game. This incapacitates a lot of the Archers' kiting it seems. I must say as an older game Fiesta makes me lag more than Forsaken World or any other new gen games. .__.

Perfect for me. I'm gunna cap it for one of the abyss's

I am wondering should it take this long to load the patch (1hr30mins). Is there something I can do to speed up this process?

Depending on your connection speed, yes it may take that long.

The patch was rather large. I haven't played Fiesta in awhile so I don't know if they provide manual patches, if they do that may be an option. Though if you're half way through already might as well just let it patch.

It would be great if you could put it in the guides section & expand as you play more. Also they are looking for the first people to hit 60. Cap for trickster is still 110 right? Also, are they squishier than mages?

Can you still play Fiesta though?

After 15 plus hrs got my Trickster to 31 saw allot of ppl plvling n I can see why I used up LOTS of pots n stones and since not many green gears are out yet it will be a lil rough at first especially w non +ed GOC weps going for 10g each you're looking at 100g plus for a +10.
One thing I seen that even with so much evasion + dex I still get hit....ALLOT :P

As far as trading trickster gears I've seen them for sale so u must be able to trade them...

I can definitely try to get a simple guide going in the section. Will do that right now since I'll have nothing to do with maintenances for both of the games I play... .__.

I swear Trickster has by far the worst looking armour in the game. Is the Lv 8 female Trickster wearing stilts because it really looks like it

Better than most blocky cleric gear xD Tho I like the really high level stuff.

There's mine. (had 3 beauty shop coupons, not sure what to do with the other two xD Maybe I'll make a fighter.) My trickster is still on 8 because I couldn't get fiesta to WORK till late last night >_> So I feel so behind. Gotta make 20 or 30 today.

I know X.x Someone asked me my first impression of them; I said SQUISHY.

You know you're too squishy when you actually have to use a stone to kill a Mushroom... orz

lol xD I did kingslime KQ and it was all tricksters :/ we failed at kingslime, everyone ran out of stones x.x

Lol! Yeah, the stone capacity is really sad especially SP. That's why I totally recommend potion crafting if it's a first character..

My next few all trickster KQs went better... never seen kingslime go down that fast.

Heh, yeah if you get past the squishiness they're pretty powerful.

One thing I noticed is that when you level your skills it doesn't update on the hotkey. -__- Recently noticed and once I updated it I killed things in one-two hits. And a Tier 1 Evasion scrolls works wonders.

I don't think it ever updated on the hotkey when you upgraded your skills xD I always have to put them back on as Kaini.

And yea, they're powerful xD Mara pirates went pretty fast too. It was crazy o.o

Haven't done Mara yet. Well, a successful one anyway. It was all Tricksters again but we had one Cleric. Things were going somewhat okay until the Cleric suddenly decided to shroom while the person tanking was, well, still tanking.

Stared for a second then just relogged, lol. You'd think that half these people have like a 60+ main and yet still manages to be nubs. Good ol' Fiesta.

Too many low level tricksters around... soooo much ksing XD

EDIT: Just hit 20 and upgraded to Gambit. :D

Get a glitch every time i try to enhance my lvl 20 twin swords :/

What kind of glitch?

I heard that one glitch allows for +10 level 20 weapon. .__.

I like my dual sword Gambit. Once I get a second finisher it should be even better.

Strangely, I can enhance the swords now, (they made lvl 20 weapons t2! annoying, makes it harder XD)
