Has anyone tried it?

Since LoL is screwed up and I don't want to go through the whole installation progress again, i'm trying out Iris online.

I think I'm over MMORPGs for now...

I know I'm being a broken record, but I think everyone should find a friend with DCUO and get a buddy key to try it out. (Before you ask, I've already given mine out).

In this one, he says that you can't compare gear stats, but you can. I don't know if he just didn't know how or what.

Do you make your own characters or pick from presets? o.o

Iris Online is very... cute. Lol I don't know how else to describe it. The battlefields are sort of fun even though I have no idea what's going on. Random party PvP/capture the flag (or in this case statue) I think...

Anyone played the RIFT Beta ? I got invited last weekend but only found out an hour before it ended, and I've been invited again for the week long final one.

Some say it's good. I was invited too but the graphics never appealed to me...

The idea of the random portals intruigues me.

There is a lot of customization.

Rift = bad. The price they charging for the game and preorder...is not worth the clunky combat mechanics and dull pvp. My advice if you're gonna pay for game? Try WoW or Aion...or just wait for Tera and GW2 :).

Im not paying for it xD I was invited into the Beta, so Im going to play that :)
And yes, GW2 is on my shopping list.

Rift is an amazing game, to many people. You can't just outright say it's bad. =|

WoW cost just as much when it came out. The sub fees work out to a similar price.

Haven't played the pvp, but the combat isn't clunky.

DCUO requires a beta key or wut? looks amazing.

It's been out of beta since January 11. It does, however, require a game purchase and subscription. In retail boxes you get a buddy key that can be used to create a 10-day trial account.

Interested in GW2 as well. Never played a P2P game before but this one looked kinda cool...

im currently waiting for Blade and Soul... it looks awesome but its not even out in korea yet and wont be till the end of the year...

Rift would have been amazing if it came out 2-3 years ago. I've played the game. The art*graphics* is outdated and yes the combat system and animations for combat is less then fluid not to mention the game is borrowing heavily from other titles and doing nothing new with what its borrowing. The environments are dark and boring.

WoW is a standalone in the mmo genre. This title does nothing but build more success as it gets older. So yes the subscription fee's or preorder costs or just the cost for the box are justified. What Trion is trying to charge for the box of rift is not justified if you look at the titles coming out in this year. Gw2 is bringing a great degree of innovation and will be B2P then F2P...Tera will be P2P like Rift and is bringing better graphics and more innovation to the mmo genre.

@Loveless GW2 will be B2P then F2P so like a 1 time fee and then possibly buying the expansion packs of they release any. Not to mention Arenasoft is GREAT about keeping their games balanced and running ingame events for players. Since they own the game...and Dev the game you can expect great things from them.

I had gotten GW and the two other expansions... I'd never been more bored in my life >___> It was just... like... so slow... and... poopy. So idunno, the game just wasn't for me, hopefully GW2 is, but I'm not trying it out for a while.
