The New Burning Rock
 

Beyond the Forest of Slumber lies a rocky and barren wasteland. Lava courses through the valleys and long abandoned stone structure lay scattered through the dark land like a graveyard. Danger lurks around every scorched tree, waiting for a new adventurer to stumble into their territory...
In case you're wondering what zone I'm referring to, it's Burning Rock! While this zone is an important place to go for anyone making the journey towards 110, we decided that it could use a bit of a makeover! Now with over 20 new quests to complete, 2 new zones to explore, and various changes to the monsters roaming the land, there's now more to do than ever before in Burning Rock.

New Zones!
Nestled amongst the smoldering hills and vents of Burning Rock, lay the entrances to two new caves! The Cave of Fever and Burning Cave will now be open to all players, but beware... you never know what you might find hiding amongst the rocks.

New Quests!
The various NPCs throughout the Burning rock zone will now be offering more quests to all able-bodied Isyans willing to step up to the challenge. Check out the table below to see what new quests you can accept today:

EDIT: Awww, nothing changed... it says today.... did I miss a patch or something...

Hoping for a good repeat quest - still, I'm halfway to 92 with nothing but grinding left, so I'll take whatever I can get. :laugh:

The patch is tonight.. they werent ready to patch at normal time last night, so it's been delayed by a day...

The Crystal Investigation quests didn't even give me 2%... =.=

wow lame i got all of 3% from that =.=

So much for hitting 91 I didn't even get to 90% last night LOL!

I was offered 3 quest series - not much I can do until tomorrow night, but picked up a quick % from talking to someone. I'll take anything right now - it keeps me from harvesting ancient signs for Hessah.....:laugh:...jkjkjk

I'm annoyed... I'm stuck at 34% and I wanted more from these ;_;

I can't believe it's so hard for you to find a DT party~ Teva is screaming out for Clerics all the time..

But then again.. I only got through those levels coz I've got help from my new guildies.. and that free Blessing of Teva I got from outspark during some event xD

XD Grr.... I wanna level so bad ;_; but kaini just runs in little circles and waits for GM to start these days xDD I don't have anything for her to do!

I managed to get about 8% off of the ones offered at L91, so not a total loss. Also, the stone golem in Flaming Cave is a repeat, although it only gives 850K exp, so 10 times through is only 4%. Also, the "boss" mobs hit extremely hard - my archer was getting hit 6K+ by the Ruby Fire Guardian, and that was extended, fully scrolled and charmed, with all +9 gears and jewelry. Sad to say I had to have a Knight friend tank it, the diamond tree, and the stone golem for me..............:cries::cries::cries:

Even Helion couldn't tank it.... scary... charmed and scrolled and +9??? holy... I don't stand a chance xD

That's so bad the Diamond Tree is just standing around as a lvl 90 with the normal Jewels and kill everyone around its level..

One of the guildies kited one of these bosses.. but I can't remember which one.. maybe the golem?

My problem with kiting them is that they only follow for a limited range, and it took 5 minutes to get the Ruby one down to half of its life. I let it get too close once, I was dead in one hit. Definitely not used to a boss on my level one hitting me when I have scrolls on, much less when I go fully charmed. What happened to the days of the Giant Magmaton, when I could tank a L90 boss mob at L75 only scrolled.........so sad....:cries:

I reckon they're gonna nerf it later..
