MONEY MONEY MONEYYYYYYYY. xDD

Okay. here it is. Since most of us can't login to fiesta because of patch ( presumed ) Let's all have a heart to heart talk about our financial problems, eh? ;DDD

hmm. currently i saved to about 35s in my storage for my lvl 30 cleric shield and hammer. O______O And i still have like, 4 skills unbought. And I didn't buy a single hammer/mace mastery since lvl 20. >.>

I heard that cleric jobs are the cheapest. But if that's the case, why are we so POOR?! And if we really are the cheapest job, what about other jobs like fighters? ( presumed most expensive class )

Let's TALK then . ;DDD
about our methods in creating moneyyy.

Lackluster 11-15-2007 05:51 AM

I only have 732s

Ditto that. I never seem to be rich enough. I think my problem is that I don't solo enough, and for the past few levels I've been grinding in Uruga with mobs that hardly drops, so I don't make any profit at all after buying 50+ worth of SP stones.

If memory serves me correct, I am level 42 at the moment with only about 20+ silvers. I can't remember if I have any skills to buy, but there was something I needed to get... can't remember though.

I have a whole bunch of special elrues/lix/xirs and heaps of other tier 2 pots which I'm too stingy to sell or use. xD I always keep telling myself that one day at level 50+ I'll start using those, but I still use tier 1 pots from time to time.

FlameGirl 11-15-2007 05:52 AM

I WANT TO GET ONLINE!!! DX

3X exp and i havent enjoyed it yet... stupid frogs shitting all over their tank so i had to spend 3 hours cleaning the tanks instead of grinding like i should have been :P

Yosei 11-15-2007 05:53 AM

I currently have 400+s. I'd have more, but I bought Lith a sword. Lith is my financial problem! lol jk. I have no money problems D: I don't spend it on much.

viasta 11-15-2007 05:54 AM

money..I make it by selling Dim Gem dusts, etc.

Edit:
I'm poorest...12s total here! go me!

FlameGirl 11-15-2007 05:54 AM

@ BLAAAHO.o you remind me of my dad: "if its free take it! i dont care if we dont need it, its free!" XD

Same with good deals. I found a BLix today for 1s..bought it and sold it later for like 10s D:

Zucchini 11-15-2007 05:56 AM

O________O lvling is a pain if you have to buy lotsa stuff for that lvl. For example. lvl 20, 30, 40, 50, etc

On that lvl u have to buy, new top and new wep + shield. O_________O
And it costs more as time goes buy. TT

As cleric, i normally sell all my pots and rely on stone. YES, ALL POTS. I earned about 10s in a day selling about 250 pots. All for 35c each. ;DD

LOL. U GUYS POST TOO FAST FOR ME. I once bought like, 50+ 10c pots and sold all of them for 40c. XDDDD

MagesRequiem 11-15-2007 05:59 AM

I'm broke. I owe people money too. I need to buy a Zombie King Stout Mace, a Zombie King ring (STR & END), all my spells/skills up until about level 30, and... thats about it actually. The leader of my Guild hit level 40 and now he's giving me all his level 30 gear. So I don't have to worry about buying any of that. I only got about less than 30s right now.

LOL I'm Asian - it's in my blood.

The thing for me is - I don't even spend money to buy green items, or enhancing high levelled stuff. I don't know what I do to make myself so poor! LOL~

Zucchini 11-15-2007 06:04 AM

zz. I asked Hessah if she have any lvl 30 gear leftover . But she was AFK in fiesta. TT

@ Hessah: Do u have lvl 30 gear left over? Cause i dun see anyone selling those mace/hammer and shield at a decent price ie. more expensive than npc. ZZ

One good way to lvl is to STOP KQing and GRIND, TAKE ALL THE DROPS, MAKE STUFF, SELL THEM.

On my first char, i didn't know a thing called KQ. ( NOOB ) I grinded all the way until almost lvl 20 . Had really LOTS of stuff. HOWEVER. AS A NOOB, I didn't know a thing called production and sold all of them. Like SBL for 20c/25c each when i could've MADE SCROLLS AND SOLD THEM FOR 100C. ZOMG. NOOB NOOB NOOB. TT

Lmao I'm pretty sure she sold everything by now.

Zucchini 11-15-2007 06:13 AM

aww. CRUDDDDDDDDD. TT

can't see a decent price for the gear anywhere. Anyone reading this post and would like to sell lvl 30 hammer and shield pls PM me in game. ;DDDD

Lafieru 11-15-2007 06:16 AM

- Don't enhance.
- Control your spending - for the OP, as a cleric, you should only be using SP stones and/or T1 SP pots you make yourself. HP stones for emergency only.
- However, don't be afraid to use scrolls, especially if you're soloing. Increased kill speed means increased profit.
- Don't enhance.
- Pay attention in town. I only pay half attention, and I've gotten such rotten lucky deals like 60s for a Brave Roumen ring (used for 20 levels then sold for 200s), and 250s for a Shining Elderine ring (using now, but could easily sell for 1g+ if I wanted).
- Watch for leechers in party. I see too many people letting level 20s join their CP parties because they don't want to refuse. They're rationale is "Well it won't decrease the EXP that much". However, they completely forget about money - that extra person will take a full 20% of the drops. Even worse, you have to consider how much you spend on the grind, in stones and etc. Let's say you have to spend 10s to make 20s. That's 100% profit. If someone is taking away 20% of your drops, that goes down to 60% profit. And over a long period of time, the difference between 60% and 100% profit is HUGE. (Actual numbers will vary of course, but that's the basics).
- Stop partying at places too high for you. You'll get faster kills and more money at lower level areas, you'll just have to work a little harder, but it's totally worth it. That means Goblin Camp for 30s, CP for 40s, and Uruga for 50s. If you decide to skip ahead for any reason, hey, it's your character, you do what you want. Just don't complain to me that you're broke if you do. ;/
- Don't enchance.

Zucchini 11-15-2007 06:24 AM

ZOMG. LAFIERU, I SHALL ASK U TO BE MY FINANCIAL ADVISER FROM NOW ON.

And i agree with the no enhancing part. I broke too many weps to prove it wrong.

Zotius 11-15-2007 06:49 AM

Me too. I spent 30s + on items which I broke. Not lot but now I'm left with 9s. I bet that's the lowest posted so far. So now I'm trying to spend that 9s on buying 400 SBL so that I can make 200 scrolls to sell. What more I'm reaching level 30, with 5 skills to buy, my axe and my armour. But lucky for me I bought my level 28 pants with +3spr for 2s 80c.

Blaaaaaaaah 11-15-2007 06:50 AM

Hm, according to Laf's list, my problem is training at Uruga when I'm not supposed to, LOL!

Another problem of mine is that there was a period where I would only log on to do kingdom quests. Now that's a problem because I don't usually get weapons as rewards to sell off and I only spend money for those for the stones. Dx

Loveless 11-15-2007 06:54 AM

Cleric is the cheapest if you solo. If not you're burning tons of SP pots on others. But know that all the quests after level 30 will give you money in silvers. Always do quests! Especially the repeat ones since they still give you money no matter how small and you're also killing monsters that are right for your level.

This is how my cleric got 200s+ by level 40.

Next would be the Archer in my opinion. This is mainly because the skills I need to buy are spread apart so I have enough time to gain money before purchasing the next skill. Unlike a cleric who has a lot of Heals and stuff to buy. D:

Another way to save money is to shroom often during solos. I save much on stones doing this and it doesn't take a whole lot to heal full HP/SP anyway.

Ah, I can't do that. I don't think I will ever solo to level in my life unless I'm completing quests. Solo-ing bores me a lot, unless there's someone around chatting with me. But usually they're guildies and if they're on I'd be partying with them, hahaa!

Zucchini 11-15-2007 06:57 AM

Another method is to use stones and save pots for emergencies. stones heal more and overall, they're cheaper.

I make my own pots. o: Tier 1 though...

But yeah, I usually use stones too.

Zotius 11-15-2007 07:05 AM

Well it costs me nearly 3s to buy a full stack of HP stones. 55 for me. So when I grind solo I hope and pray I'd get more than 3s before I use up my HP stones.

Zucchini 11-15-2007 07:08 AM

O__________________O

I just buy stones in sets of 5-10

Loveless 11-15-2007 07:14 AM

Unfortunately for me the guild I'm currently in is unfriendly despite their name "Friends". I come online and say "Hello"... only to get *crickets*

But I have to agree, soloing with a Cleric is a pain in the butt. I've done it. I've leveled to 40 mostly soloing and we kill so damn slow that if it wasn't for 3x events I'd still be 20. My Archer on the other hand kills fast enough so it isn't so boring to solo. Partying is fine too since I only need to buy SP stones which are cheaper... unless I'm the Archer tank. Being an Xbow player I pull aggros off the Fighter even through numerous mock/kicks and nature's protection.

Zucchini 11-15-2007 07:19 AM

O________________________O

Clerics still rock.

Yeah, at least as an archer, when you solo, you get to spam skills to make it more interesting. Clerics only has bash/trip or bleed and it's dull. I haven't got trip/bleed myself anyway. ><"

Zucchini 11-15-2007 07:26 AM

Me :

Tab ; auto-attack; heal; bash; repeat.

XDDDDDD

Loveless 11-15-2007 07:28 AM

DO NOT get the Bleed/Trip skills if you don't have to until they fix it. Or if you have spare points to put into Power. Especially if you're low on money... >P

... only it's effects are nice

o: I've never seen what it looks like.

No worries, I don't think I'll ever get trip/bleed. Not any time soon anyway.

1. Too poor.
2. I always switch between hammer/mace when I get a new set of stuffs, and it sucks that you need to get both skills if you use both hammers and maces from time to time. =/

Hyper 11-15-2007 07:37 AM

Clerics are expensive because of:

1. Having to buy shields.

2. Having a betch-load of skills to buy.

I had to spent nearly 60s on skills, and I still need like 15 more. D:

I think archers would be cheapest, because I hear buying mage skills is a beezy.

Lackluster 11-15-2007 07:38 AM

Fighters are as expensive as clerics if they use a shield + 1h sword... Dx

Hyper 11-15-2007 07:41 AM

Yeah, fighters are second. They don't have like 12 fricking Heals though. Dx

PS. I use a Fighter main and cleric alt... I'm broke.

Donate 1s today and 1% of that will go to children in Africa! D:
