Believe it or not, drowning newborn puppies/kittens is a common practice in some countries, because the owners are unable/unwilling to take care of them, and nobody is willing to adopt one.

4chan found this girl and has deleted her facebook and has begun harassing her. I think its pretty hilarious. She deserves it.

I don't think that's the problem here. I think the problem comes from a) her apparent glee (sounds like a few laughs in there) b) the fact she didn't put them in a bag or something and took the time to individually underhand them far off in to the rive and c) POST IT TO THE INTERNET. I think that is what the uproar is about. Sometimes you've got to do some rather unpleasant things in life, but they need to be done humanely.
