Made a simple desktop
 

Well I hadn't used PS in a while, and I was inspired to a silhouette-y desktop, especially when I remembered the . So, so so so, yeah, it took me a while to figure out how to do it (for.. some... reason... should have taken me a lot less time xD) BUT I DID FINISH IT, and I kinda like it :3

Lol I was more shocked at how many games you have downloaded. Once I stop playing a game I uninstall it, since having a cluttered desktop makes me a bit depressed xDD

lol leesa i play all of them and like 4 other games that are in the clean up folder i play em all with diff ppl so like yea ima just keep em there is my computer is like a super computer ^.^

So you actually traced an image in Illustrator? O.o

Hehe nope. I just got the picture, fully and normally colored. I resized it blahblah placed it, then on another layer above it I put a green rectangle of the same color as the BG, and set that to Lighter Color, I was lucky and it showed everything I wanted, though there were a bit of other lines in different colors, so I just covered those up manually on another layer, and yay xD As for the silhouettes those were just color overlays.

I don't have a pretty desktop... *glares at photoshop still in it's package on the desk*
I'm too lazy to install it. xD

and I'm testing it out with other renders right now, but it seems a bit unpredictable, especially in how much you need to manually cover up, and what it does cover up. Trying to find a way to perfect it, or get it close to perfect :P

Ah, I see. I wish I could've brought my laptop here... or even put my sketch book in my bag. -__- So boring...

This one took a lot of manual work, thankfully using Select > Color Range really helps. Also put a stroke around it because she looks bald without it xD

Ohh love it. Though for the stroke use a darker shade of the colours instead? The black seems a bit too much.

Yeah I agree, might fix it later xP

Right now I'm starting on another one, trying to see how it goes if the BG color completely doesnt fit the original.
