I personally don't like those types of games. Basically, you build stuff and produce stuff and manage stuff. Can't be bothered.

I really want starcraft II, unfortunately my computer can't handle it:[. I actually like playing ums better then the original gameplay. I don't think there's any big good ums game out there right now though. I know some people are trying to make another DotA but it'll probalby be a while until you see a playable DotA map. There are other fun games though, especially since the Galaxy Editor has little limitations, the games will greatly excell those of warcraft III. It'll take awhile for someone to make a really good one though.

If you want to play and get better at the melee maps then I suggest you watch replays of it. I suggest go to youtube.com/hdstarcraft and/or youtube.com/huskystarcraft they commentate replays and tell you what's going on and why they do the things they do. sc2mapster.com is areally good place to look for ums maps. They usually showcase the really good maps on the main page and usually offering a download to it.

I believe it's 2 expansions so making a total of 3 games. So that's $180 for the whole trilogy for americans. 60bucks per game.

You'll get a brief plot synopsis of SC during the install of SC2. The single player campaign is amazing.

Did you finish the single player campaign rather quickly?

It depends on how you define quickly, I suppose. Took about a week, but I don't have much time to play.

Yeah that's quick same with my bf.. I thought that's a rather short game for $100!

It's only the first game out right now.

Rumors have it that the expansions will be priced at a lower price point, since they're expansions. The campaign is fun, especially on Brutal.

The learning curve is also much shallower than Starcraft 1.

The zombie level was great.

I'm liking the campaign so far but I've reached the part where its no fun due to the challenge. And I'm on 'Normal' so i think I'll ahve to tone down the difficulty :s

I just heard some mods like StarChess, Metal Slug Starcraft, a tower defense Starcraft, and that third-person shooter Starcraft that's in development right now.

I sided with Triumph on this one. Not to mention the ending is epic o-o

I have taken a liking to the Protoss. I went against an AI controlled Zerg army to get my bearings in multiplayer and ended up defeating it while at the same time maxing out my possible army cap.

And although I didnt get any pictures of the epic final battle I did get a shot of them all destroying some rocks. Which they did in less than 5 seconds.

I just counted and it consisted of:
1x Mothership
3x Sentries
4x Phoenix
2x Carrier each with 8 interceptors
8x Stalkers
7x Collosus
3x Void Ray
6x Archon
5x Immortal
2x Dark Templar
8x Zealot
1x Observer

Not a single one died during the final battle, although the warp prism almost did along with a few Zealots.
