iPhone Calendar stuffed
I just realise that when I've put my friend's bday in contact for, let say, 7th September, the iPhone calendar is showing it as a day early on 6th August..
Did a quick google and 1 place said it's an OS4 problem!? Is there anything i can do to fix it? |
Trade it in for a Blackberry.

I know Apple is just as stuffed up as Microsoft..
I'm not syncing it with a calendar on the computer so that isnt for me.. but thanks for looking for me! |
I've been saying it before and I'll say it again: Jailbreak the damn thing.

There was an article somewhere that said Jailbreaking it is legal... xD I didn't really read into it though.. |
I believe if you jailbreak the warranty no longer covers your phone. And well, if you plan on doing it... make sure you make a back-up.
|
I don't think I'll do it.. iPhone is not worth the effort.. xD

1. Jailbreaking is LEGAL. Link:
http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/201...-jailbreaking/ 2. The "If you jailbreak, you will void your warranty" myth? Bullshit. Read he last paragraph: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives...ll_void_wa.php 3. Jailbreaking is as easy as this: www.jailbreakme.com The whole process takes 2 mins tops. Make sure you have not updated past 4.0.1, the jailbreak will only work so far. I mean, what's not to like? You get a WHOLE lot more customizations, such as a 5-icon dock and custom theme of any colour/subject you can think of, even a Windows theme. Look! http://www.trickdigest.com/images/ma...k/IMG_0004.PNG There is an app named MxTube, that actually lets you save entire videos directly off YouTube! Some guy actually developed an app that lets you play Macromedia Flash! This is my current lockscreen: http://grab.by/grabs/33a1d955ce955b7...3c55716412.png That is AndroidLock, you swipe your finger from dot to dot in a pattern to unlock your phone. I could go on forever, I mean, what's not to like? And even if something DID happen, you can always restore via iTunes. /REALLY mad at Steve Jobs |
I've seen that screenlock! That was cool!
I've already updated it 4.0.1 though.. |
Then you can jailbreak it, I said anything past 4.0.1. Just access the website on your iPhone.
|
What if the person jailbreak their phone then reset it will that cancel the warranty?

I think people associate Jailbreaking with being illegal due to it letting you get apps for free instead of paying for them. Which is the illegal part. |

LOL. Those reasons might lead me to jailbreak once i get an iPhone. EDIT: Especially the last 2. |
