Possibly a good build?
 

Alright, so I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to playing the cleric class (I usually go for mage). Anywho, I was thinking I'd go 1:1 END/SPR until SPR was at 25, then go full END. I've also been thinking about doing pure END or pure SPR, based on posts I read a long time ago, but then I've seen some posts here mentioning STR. Is that really important, even if you don't plan on clanking?
I'm not trying to be just a healbot, as I do like to solo a bit at the earlier levels.
So..yeah. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

If you're just gonna be a healbot, there's no need for STR.

Only if you're going primarily solo will you need STR.

I like my 25 SPR/ rest END built, I like seeing a reasonable HP pool at higher level.. (in contrast to if you went full SPR, you won't have as much HP)

25 spr rest str and +9s or 25 spr 50 end rest str.

alright so i have a build i think might be pretty good if you want to be a holy knight i have no clue for a guardian tell me what you think 50 str 50 end 25 spr for holy knight. this is for guardian that dont want to the solo probaly try going for 65 end 60 spr these are for about lvl 100

dont have a cleric so now im pretty clue less:laugh: but i think clerics need end right?

so 25 spr and all out end would be like hardest to kill type of cleric?

I'm a pure end cleric. I don't know if that's the best build but it's working great for me so far. :cutielove:

I used to be a full spr cleric and changed about 3 levels ago to full end. Personally I like full spr better - but the inability to afford good gears and constant dying in DT due to lack of life/def (a level 80 dungeon) pushed me to switch build to full end.

So with experience with both build, this is my little 2 cents:
1) as a cleric you can afford to experiment with your build quite a bit
2) if you want to be mainly support, but also be able to kill a bit faster every once in a while then you would prefer spr (or str in your build)
3) If you do decide to go full spr or mainly spr, you should work your in-game piggy bank early so you can afford good gears
4) Being full spr you are very well suited to tank mdmg mobs - which not many people are, especially at lower and mid levels

Have u tried 50 dex, rest end build for a cleric?

I haven't tried, but i heard its useful for grinding.

I have two clerics :3 one HK and one guardian. As far as guardians go, I prefer full end for support, and full str if you think you're going to be stuck soloing a lot :3. My HK is a hybrid :3 50 dex, 25 spr, and rest end <3 and it works wonders. I supplement her build with end/dex/spr gear, and mobs miss, other players miss, and she's still got decent hp and mdef =3

I have heard the same, but I have never seen one - I would actually like to try it though. The wonder of dex, it is both a defensive and offensive stat

I haven't really reached prestige classes yet, but my advice would be full end. I currently have a lvl 88 full str cleric, because I thought it would be helpful, but if you want to lvl at a decent speed, then you will be simply healing at 8x +. Most of the time, you probably won't have time to attack (not to mention it's rather useless, because the other classes still deal more dmg :P). And full end will give you the hp and the nice block rate to survive the times when you get aggro.

But full str was nice until 7x tho... o: Still.. xD

well, my first char was my cleric so I added random stats... mine is 20 spr and end for 100 hp and sp, 15 dex to make up for hammer inaccuracy and rest str for solo moments...

I'm hapy with my 25 spr rest end build so far. The HP is always welcomed especially if you're trying to keep your pt alive and take a few hits.

I've got a 1:1 end/spr cleric myself, a str/end/dex one, and a pure end. To be honest, they're all fine and do well at what i've built them to do. Especially with decent gears, good skill empowerments, and quick reflexes, you'll always be fine.

Myself personally found that a 1:2:1 ratio Str, End, Spr works out well. I still get the health I need for grinding and mobs, and the spirt to support others in parties, yet I still have the strength to solo myself everynow and then. :cutielove:

Well, thing is i've never really played as a cleric and i have this build in mind and just want your feedback on it please and thank you.


What i was thinking was a 2:1 str and spr until lvl 60 and by the end of that i should have 50 end and 25 spr. Then after lvl 60 rest is gonna be str.

How is it?

Well, i'm playing with end:spr 2:1 build and so far it's going well for me, because i have more sp to heal and good def to get less dmg and attack :laugh: But i don't know what will i do when i have 50:25 end:spr , will i have all to end then, or to str :lost:

I add only END to my cleric so far. I plan to go END rest STR, but I'm kinda trying to do the math when I will stop with END and go with STR. :urweird:
But all END is going fine with my cleric so far. :cutielove:
