i think she means second series. brotherhood's a remake that follows the manga more closely.

Yeah, it's pretty good. it has great music, too. i never got to catch the original, but this one's pretty entertaining from a purely objective standpoint.

Heard some say they prefer the original.


Fandom's a funny thing, rage when it deviates from canon, meh when it gets back.

i've been watching it and only 2 episodes left but dammit i don't want to spoil anything D:

Nuu don't need to tell me what happens! Just if you reckon it's good xD I heard that the first 15 eps or so is a summary of the first season before the plot starts changing.

Apparently it's like an extended version.. probably something like Naruto that wouldn't end xD

i havent watched all of brotherhood (i stopped for a while xD i need to watch more) but so far from what i have watch i would say its alot better. i love the soundtrack too. the art is better and the animation is much more smooth~

my friend's stayed up with it and said that its the best anime hes seen for a while... :3

yes it's good watch it. and yea, the first few episodes are basically the same as the first season with some minor changes.
it's not extended, it's just that the first one deviated from the manga but this one doesn't and i like its story better actually. oh and there's apparently only 2 episodes left in it so it'll be 64 episodes total. the manga just ended at 108 chapters i think.

As everyone will say, the second one follows the manga series more. I like the original's animation better. I dunno what it is about Brotherhood... but the differences in the animation bug me x.x

You reckon I can just start from like ep 10 or something?

i would say watch the first episode and then yeah skip to episode 10 or so xD

LOL ok cos 14 eps of the same thing is too tedious for me.

I decided to start from ep 1 anyway cos I have a bad memory and prob forgot most of the storyline LOL

But omg I can't believe Armstrong's sparkly stars aren't bright pink anymore! They're like... peach orange colour @_@

Armstrong is probably the best character next to Hughes

Hughes was awesome.

I found that The original FMA seemed more dark after about 20 episodes. But I love Brotherhood, its definately one of my favourites. Stopped about half way through tho, need to pick it back up at some point.
