A secret to enhancing XD
 

No, dont get the wrong idea, im not going to tell you a pattern for enhancing. My bf has spent over 1 gold enhancing things and he's fair certain it's random... which makes sense to me. He's got a whole bunch of conspiracy theories about enhancing which would take too long to even dot point here.

But one thing he did notice: when you click on 'begin enhancement' your stone disappears from your inventory before the enhancement finishes... thats not all, if your weapon is going to be destroyed it too will disappear from your inventory before the enhancement finishes.

So no more sitting on the edge of your seat wondering if it will be destroyed, you can now find out imediately. Sad thing is, as you should know, theres no way to stop enhancing once you've started. :p so now do what my bf does and while the enhancement is going and he knows its going to fail, he runs around looking for another green item to destroy XD

I will try to submit some screenies of the failed enhancement if you want me to.

Vehdy eentehresting... Not exactly helpful, but at least we won't be sitting in suspense now. Curse you for the title that gets people's hopes up though :p

@ Pritcher:it's not false advertising... well i suppose it is now, since the cats outta the bag its not a secret anymore, but it is helpful, it makes your enhancing quicker and therefore more productive :p

i have noticed that the stone disappeared but not the weapon part...

now i'm just gonna hv a heart attack twice... once when the item disappear from the inventory.. and once when the sound effect comes up -cries-

Anyway, back on track... I do remember the stone disappearing and the item goes dark and kind of transparent while its doing the spinning bit, but I never noticed it disappear. Then again I never really paid all that much attention and towards the end I was looking away and muting it so what do I know, lol.

I can second that, FlameGirl, I've noticed recently that before the enhancement even finishes the weapon disappears if it's going to break.

I was like looking... and "where'd my weapon go?"... "OH *&^%!"... yeah.
