"Hannah likes Cracking your knuckles does not actually hurt your bones or cause arthritis. The sound you hear is just gas bubbles bursting. Cracking your knuckles (or any of your joints) can have therapeutic benefits. When you crack one of your joints you are pulling the bones that are connected at the joint apart from each other. This process stimulates your tendons, relaxes your muscles, and loosens your joints. Chiropractors do this for spinal joints when your back is sore and stiff, but you can do this on your own for your knuckles, toes, knees, neck, etc. Unfortunately, there can be too much of a good thing. Cracking your knuckles will never lead to arthritis (despite what your mom keeps telling you), but scientists have discovered that it can cause tissue damage in the affected joints. Knuckle-cracking pulls your finger bones apart which stretches your ligaments. Too much stretching of your ligaments will cause damage to your fingers akin to the arm injuries sustained by a baseball pitcher who throws too many pitches. In addition to making your hand really sore, this ligament damage can also result in reduced grip strength. How does this work? Your joints, the places in your body where you can bend, are where your bones intersect and are held together by ligaments. These joints are surrounded by a liquid called synovial fluid. When you stretch your ligaments by pulling the bones apart to crack your knuckles a gas in the synovial fluid escapes and turns into a bubble. This process is called cavitation. Cavitation ends when the bubble eventually bursts, producing that popping sound we know and love. After that, your joints won't be able to crack for another 25-30 minutes while the gas gets reabsorbed into the synovial fluid. - OMG Facts. 10 hours ago"

You mean crap like that? I clicked the link and nothing happened, but that took up a huge chunk of the news feed...

EDIT: picture!

I was gonna say "the one I saw was longer but I removed the person from my feed so it's gone now", but oh what a surprise, another friend liked it so here you go:

But multiply that length by 3. Literally. My screenshot just couldn't fit.

Triumph 05-21-2010 03:28 PM

That one just appeared in my news feed... gg

Damn girls and their long fan pages.

Lirange 05-22-2010 04:37 AM

I don't like having 90% of my wall filled with people being fans of things.

Ditto

A_Forever 05-22-2010 01:36 PM

Majority of your people probably don't spend their time updating their status. So really.. if there weren't those pages.. the feed would be dead. Except for those people who JUST update their status XD

Blaaaaaaaah 05-22-2010 01:50 PM

I don't update my status much but I doubt the absence of those joining-pages updates while really make a difference to my feed cos my friends have like.. almost everything they do on facebook get shown up on the feed. If I could I would turn off those joining-page updates for sure. Some groups are funny but 90% of the time they're wasting space x)

Speaking of facebook:

http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/627...1053153678.jpg

lulz. That was a photo uploaded by my friend. Not sure what it is but it's edible. I think it's like.. some kind of cake.

A_Forever 05-22-2010 02:09 PM

Fondant stuff. Probably.

Hessah 05-23-2010 09:14 AM

LOL!! The FB pills are hilarious!!

My news feed is full of games.. I don't join those pages, I dont see the point of them.. sometimes I get a laugh at what other people are joining.. but I can do without them too.. (hell I can do without those stupid LOONG ones)

I rather see friends that really update their statues than to see what they joined.. but that's probably an age thing... most of those people that join lotsa groups are like.. 16-18...

A_Forever 05-23-2010 03:38 PM

16-20 for me XD

MikeyG 05-23-2010 07:25 PM

LOL I have alot of people filling up my news feed, 90% of the time its statuses/wallcomments/pictures, with the odd fan page that gives me a laugh.

kirbysprite 05-24-2010 01:39 AM

I want to kill whoever made this site:
