Legend of the Seeker

Just wanted to know who else watches it *^^*

A_Forever 05-18-2010 12:07 AM

It looks dumb to me but my brother says it's actually not that bad.

He doesn't watch it religiously though. Just when he can't find anything else to watch on weekends or middle of the afternoon.

Kaini 05-18-2010 12:10 AM

Ok, I admit, I watch it religiously XD
It kinda seems dumb when you first see it... but It really grew on me XD Now I'm crazy about it.

Hraesvelg 05-18-2010 12:59 AM

It's not quite as good as the books, but I love Bruce Spence and the eye candy is damn good. I mean, really, both of these every week:

It also helps knowing those two are in a real life relationship. Gotta love lipstick lesbians.

Edit: It's a pity this is the last season. The books continue on for a bit more.

Kaini 05-18-2010 01:09 AM

I personally think Craig Parker is brilliant XD (Rahl :p)

*no comment on the eye candy thing btw XD*

And it may not be the last season if the 'save our seeker' people have anything to say about it!!!!

What actually made me stick on the channel the first time was Richard with his shirt off lol. I think it was one of the early episodes, like before he knew he was the seeker. I remember he meets the mother confessor in the episode so it was early on. But then I realized the show wasn't bad. And its production values for a television show are pretty high.

@Hrae-Its the last season? Isn't this only the second?

But, I barely follow it. If its on and I'm at the TV, I'll watch it if nothing else is on.

Kaini 05-18-2010 12:07 PM

Yes, this is the last season. So they say. It's been cancelled, since it's so expenisve to make. But alot of people went crazy, and made petitions, donated money, even the actors are with us. So we may have a third season after all.

Rightclaw 05-18-2010 01:15 PM

I've seen a couple of episodes. It will probably end up like Firefly - loyal following but still gets canceled.

*puts hand over ears* nuuuuu.

If you have Netflix they have both seasons. They usually add the new episode a few days after it first airs.

Bummer. I've actually been spending so much time watching stuff on Netflix I haven't bothered to "DVR" other stuff.

Netflix is pretty good. I might consider getting it again. I was willing to pay for WoW per month and thats more than the cheapest netflix plan. And I'm no longer playing WoW. So its a possibility.

Hraesvelg 05-20-2010 09:51 PM

It doesn't have a lot of the gee-whiz new stuff, but I love documentaries and old movies, plus the TV shows (like Legend and Spartacus) it always keeps me entertained.

Kaini 05-21-2010 03:38 PM
