Hmm it's only 14a out here, we had to go see it cause we realized we didn't bring anyone over 18 with ID, so we couldnt see The crazies :( but shutter island was good.. the ending just ruined it though.

Plus, my brother said Shutter Island was good and that anyone who thought it was kinda slow, may have been right.. BUT if they said it was slow and dumb.. they just didn't get it them self XD

Is it a war movie? I think I've see the poster..

Saw it....I luuuved it! Movies involving insane asylums are great, it brings me back to the movie, "One Flew Over the CooKoos Nest". It was very entertaining, and especially emotional towards the end. I personally think the ending was the icing on the cake for that movie, it ties everything together.

The ending left you saying .. so what the fuck was the truth?
You don't know if he actually is crazy or if they just brainwashed him...

I like it. Though I figured it out around halfway.

Its clear to me that he was admitted into the sanitarium for the murder of his wife, and his flashbacks to what had happened affirm that it was true and not some kind of brainwashing

Its Dicaprio's last words on the film that are also important...something like, "is it better to live being a monster, or to die a good person?"

In my opinion, he has realized the truth but is unwilling to accept it, and is why he doesn't resist the people taking him into surgery.
