Yeah, I'm talking to you, Blah.

NavMan 11-08-2007 03:05 AM

Hessah 11-08-2007 03:17 AM

Blaaaaaaaah 11-08-2007 03:58 AM

Bigger font - better?

Hessah 11-08-2007 04:10 AM

yeah it just looked wrong for some reason HAHA

maybe i've watched too much "zui gan yil zhen zi" HAHAH

yeah that looks better LOL

Hyper 11-08-2007 04:20 AM

You guys know some Chinese characters? (Assuming you didn't go to the Google translator) I guess it could be Kanji, but what Hessah said doesn't look Japanese. Or sound like it.

Blaaaaaaaah 11-08-2007 04:22 AM

Both Hessah and I are Chinese - so we know how to read a bit. We did go to Chinese school during most of our school life after all.. except I forget a lot now.

Hyper 11-08-2007 04:26 AM

You do live in Australia though, right?

For a second I thought that was part of school curriculum there. xD

Hessah 11-08-2007 04:29 AM

wat i "prononced" was cantonese keke

and no... you can learn chinese in high school as a subject... (just like japanese and stuff)

but me and blah had to sacrifice our sundays for chinese school...

So glad we're finally out!

-grab blah's hands and dance around Wacky-

a.L 11-08-2007 04:37 AM

Isn't that "to research"?

^ I like that.

@Wacky: Yeah, that's why Rightclaw is silly for using it incorrectly. When you translate it, it means to "study" something, but he thought that it means studying for exam, not conducting a study like an experiment...

Rightclaw. Noob. 8DD

Hessah 11-08-2007 04:40 AM

yeah LOL hence i was confused...

it means "study" but in the context of "the study shows that smoking will cause lung cancer"

Zucchini 11-08-2007 05:41 AM

rofl. I was thinking what the hell was yan jiu doing there. O_o

And you guys are CHINESE ?! I thought you're Aussies cause your english is so good. Anyway, HIGHFIVE. Chinese too. Except I was born in china and moved to s'pore. xDD

Blaaaaaaaah 11-08-2007 05:59 AM

Haha, our English isn't that great (some stuff we say shows that we still have a little "fobiness" in us) - but we've moved here since we were little, so my English > my Cantonese. D: I think I would have forgotten all my Chinese now if I haven't been watching Asian shows, lol!

I don't know how to speak mandarin though. D: Like, I guess what they mean sometimes if someone is speaking it slowly (since they sometimes sound very similar to Mandarin) but otherwise I don't know. Except basics like.... NI HAO. Lmao, although anyone knows that... xD

Kreain 11-08-2007 06:36 AM

w00t google language tools rocks - it says RESEARCH!

Hessah 11-08-2007 06:52 AM

- 5! -

my english and chinese are just as bad.. my language talent is just bad overall HAHA

Zotius 11-08-2007 02:11 PM

Dude I'm chinese, learnt chinese since the age of 5 and I don't recognise those words. How pwn am I? BTW I failed my chinese 4 terms in a row last year.

O-mie 11-08-2007 02:19 PM

All I see are question marks. Y_Y

Zotius 11-08-2007 02:20 PM

Go get the chinese language pack. I think it can be downloaded. Anyways I'm off to sleep now. So tired after 18.5 hours of non-stop anime watching.
