Is HoN much better than LoL? im considering changing games, because a guy i know told me that HoN is infinitely superior.

Why don't you just try it out and see? They're both the same, just different champs, items, and some other shit xD

Meh... i dont feel like paying for something unless i know for certain that it's better than a free product. dont feel like downloading it till i get a second opinion either.

Eh, it's definitely fun. I honestly may still be playing it right now but due to my computer not being able to handle it, I'm not playing it. LoL and HoN are two different games but I think you should definetly try it out. Got nothing to lose. But beware...you will get A LOT of flame. HoN is like....10x worse then LoL community wise. And with a VOIP, people will not only be capsing text, but yelling at you through voip. So beware.

Wouldn't opinions and a review be pretty much the same thing?

Heroes of Newerth and League of Legends

@wompastompa: These are like DotA, if you've ever seen or heard of it. People pick hero units like those in Warcraft 3 and try to kill each other and destroy the enemy's base.


On LoL, I just hit lvl 30, 110:91:3 with Nasus most-played 26:12. Reaching 30 has dampened the motivating aspect of it for me since I'm wondering, what now? I'm still having fun though so I guess I'll be farming IP for more champs/runes. Skinning the minions/heroes with custom skins also made it more interesting.

My point was I'd much rather go read more then a couple game site reviews / comments and try it for myself, then base playing a game on one persons opinion.

I tend to value the opinion of people I know over anonymous reviewers, especially at the big sites. The game and "review" industry is way too incestuous for my tastes. Not to mention all of the game company astroturfers.

Guess I think that way cause I actively use the forums of the reviewers on the sites I go to .. I'm speaking more of gaming sites/forums then something like IGN. SO the reviews on the sites I trust.
