Any prior Funding needed?
 

The MMO that I've been playing required a crappy character or two to fund a good character, not a newbie one (My Ringmaster had 20m+ spent on it, and my Blade would have been the same). Would this be an optimal newbie class? I personally like characters with bows, and AoEing, so this seems right for me.

i love archer and always will but this game ur playing dosnt sound to be that
great if u need to make 2 other chars just to make money for one game
but if thats wut u like then thats up to u in my eyes i think its dumb

The 2 characters isn't required, but the best 1v1 and AoE characters, Blades and Rangers, respectively, need a bit of funding for multi-million weapons. The Best Blade weapon even costs 1.5b+, which is why I'm looking for a new game (though my Blade is AoE, so I don't need the LGA lol)

Generally you can make money with any class, the money making side comes from alchemy production..

But I also find that clerics are good at money/resource saving.. I started with my cleric who saved up scrolls and pots for my other character.. But that's not "required" I'm sure lots of people make money without clerics

I'm wondering the best class for money making to be able to perform well as a first character. Yes, Fiesta lol.

Also, randomly, it couldn't connect to the server when I tried to log in. Any ideas why?

Hmm yeah I think a steady income for Fiesta comes from making scrolls / stones / pots and selling them.. which translate to material gathering... Archer isn't a bad class for that, since potentially you can solo AOE so all the drops would be yours..

or if you're a cash spender, you don't even need to make too much in-game money to do well, since all the cash shop boost are very decent..

I'm not on a computer with Fiesta atm, so I cant test the server for you.. does it give you any messages? If it says you're not invited to play, it means the server is down for maintenance...

No, just says failed to connect or something... I think that it was because I was running it off of a flash drive, though, so I'm currently reinstalling.

that's the problem, i've tried that once before, and I got something like that. Also I have found that any class is good for making money... it's just that fact that (depending which server your in) the prices of weapons that players sell is crazy... I have seen lvl 30 weapons (+9) sell for 200k silver, the lvl 40 weapons jump up to about 1-2 gold (+9) fyi 1 gold is 1000 silver, and 1 silver is 1000 copper...
Essentially D.A.R.E, you spend way more that 20 million on your char. it depends on th server that your in as well.

Wierd... I've played other games/mmo's off of the drive, and they've all worked fine. Also, this money system will hurt my head 0.o
I'm a bit more used to WoW's C/S/G system, where it's100->next level.

Also, 30 weapons for 200k silver? Meh, maybe that's less then it seems... I'm used to an unpopular level 105 green (cap is 182, kind of) being 5-10m... Oh well. Ill try it and see.

About the problem connecting to Fiesta: The servers are down, and probably will be until tomorrow.

About the class: Archers are pretty hard til 51, but after that you can "kite" (I suggest looking up a video on that to see what it is.) and get quite a good amount of money that way.

Fighters can solo well, so if you like killing 1 by 1, your luck might lead you into quite a bit of money.

Clerics are pretty good at reserving money, but if you don't find a good party, it's pretty hard to make money due to their weak power and limited attacking skills.

Mages are not recommended for new players because of their weak defense and hitpoints.
