Ping-Pong
 

Anyone tried ping-ponging the mob between 2 or more people? Like a duo of 2 mages not having a cleric. First mage cast 1 spell, second cast 2-3 to get aggro and so-on and so-forth, pingponging the aggro. Would have to be in a very open area. If i get a chance i'd try it.

Yess! I did that with Dyna for a bit, LOL! I was on my mage and he was on his archer. We were at Forest of Tides killing off crabs and such like that. It worked pretty well since neither of us could tank like our fighters and clerics.

I've had that happen before, but never on purpose. Just sorta happens sometimes. It's cool though; poor monster just looks like it can't make up it's mind then it dies somewhere in between us.

its a bit risky, but it can be very effective if you do it right.
awsome xp since everyone in the party is DD.
sure you may take a few hits, but even mages have to be able to survive that. if all fails you can still run and your mate will gain aggro or just kill off the mob

not a bad idea for robo XD if everyone cooperates...

Only problem is if there is to much of a damage difference then the monsters could stick aggro on som1 long enough to kill them.
Most likely itll be a mage doing the most damage and
most likely they'll die, fast.
If everyone is close in lvl then it would work so Robo would be hard since you cant plan before it starts.

could probably pingpong a robo between two fighter that does the taunting... and all the archers and mage can fight in between keke

Thats a good idea.... but some people suck at taunt...
i guess it all depends...
Well if any1 gets it to work in Robo....... post some screens, id love to see it.

XD even though it sounds great... i highly doubt i could organise for it to happen in Robo... unless they're all friends...

But I'm sure with all the dpsers having a go at Robo, the Robo will easily turn to them. Fighters can't keep taunting to keep aggro on them because their taunts have a cool down, which is probably enough for the mages/archers to make Robo lose hate on them.

Ping pong only works properly with ranged people - therefore we would need to have the robo target the dpsers.

It could be possible if it's well organised, and if the dpsers know what they're doing. The fighters can go running around mobbing the other mobs instead.

Well to me... Robo is just to chaotic to do anything...
Especially staying alive, let alone trying to organize such a thing.

ok using ping pong on robo sounds close to impossible now~

might just stick to doing it for normal mobs LOL

i was so happy the other day.. i took 3 hits from robo without healing and didnt die!! LOL

might try ping pong agains a normal mob though......
